The Langley has a large flat carrier deck that is greater than the size of an M core ship, as such it can accommodate the largest M core ships in the game while they have a full load, and that is what it was built for. There is a massive area "On Deck" to place cargo packs or containers and your favorite ships up to a fully loaded M core.
