Very Small S Core Single L Container Hauler The Ugly Armadillo is _almost_ small enough to be an XS unit but didn't _quite_ fit. If you need a small, cheap, easy to fly space hauler for runs outside of the safe zone that won't cause you major loss if you get shot down... this is it. The Ugly Armadillo was my own solution to this problem, and now I'm sharing it with you. Lightweight, well balanced, and very easy to fly. Do yourself a favor, stay out of the pipe... this is not a defensive craft... it is meant to be a sacrificial lamb in the event someone wanting what you have catches up with you!

And so as he toiled away in the darkness of Thades shadow at the Crash Industries skunkworks, the Cambria took shape. A T shape to be exact. But how would Resource achieve the high altitude lift he wanted, no required AND avoid a wall of engines? These are the challenges that drive some mad as they rebreathe the same stale air inside their helmets. The space anguish spiraled out of control as the ship went from 2, no 4, no 4.5 containers! Just when some would break down in a pile of mangled voxels, Resource looked up and saw his masterpiece. His first thought? I wonder if I can cram a medium shield in there? ... the answer was yes. The Cambria by WarpForged is a small core (small footprint) hauler that safely lifts two XL mission packages (2.8+ kt in 4L & 1M containers) from Alioth's surface with level 4 pilot talents. This hauler is made for everyone who needs to get stuff done. It's a good looking ship without a bunch of extra elements you're going to have to repair if the inevitable happens. Lightweight construction ensures performance, yet its armored top plate uses high grade 5 titanium allowing it to tank hits should it become necessary to vent the shield! Unlike many space-only competitors, the P2 may operate from ground bases, removing the need for time consuming ship transfers! It is capable of launching to orbit from the ground on its rocket afterburner, as well as gliding back to a safe landing like the space shuttles of ancient history. Initial UEF combat reports show the P2 has proven itself capable of dominating in encounters with alien advance scouting parties, with over 90% of sorties reporting swift victory and only moderate damage to shields which did not require the use of a single vent cycle!

The ship has a max speed of 1534 km/h and can withstand the pressure of the atmosphere at high speed without taking significant damage at 1200 km/h. Capable of escaping 1g with 200t of cargo - even with zero piloting talents - it's suitable for a new player who wants to kick-start their progress. It also has surplus high altitude lift and braking power to make it easier to fly. With maxed technician and piloting talents the Squire can escape 1g with up to 500t and carry up to 700t in atmo. With an optional warp drive, plenty of fuel, and a cozy interior, the Squire has only one notable drawback: If you intend to use the Squire for mission running, keep in mind that the cargo is only 120kL. The "Not-For-Hire" (some know this name from a great SciFi novel) is a great companion for small- and mid-scale mining operations, and for hauling if you got a lot to move but not as much that a huge, fuel-consuming super hauler would make sense. The colors of the ship are snow white and Martian red. Her modern cockpit has style and gives you an amazing view while you fly. Her strong downward and forward illumination makes you see where you land during dark nights. And her extremely good wing lift gets her airborn with as less as 150 km/h. Also excellent gliding capability for mean stingy captains who want to save on fuel. The ship allows access or exit from five of the six sides, allowing ops where speed is key. She has a forward-facing hangar that can carry various speedboats, mini haulers, or armed fighters. Alternatively, the hangar can be used as forward-facing weapon platform. Dedicated storage for hangar vehicles. Dedicated accessories storage and of course the main cargo containers for freight. She is not meant to cruise alone inside PVP zones, but she still has a shield generator. The strong landing lights can be switched on or off, and also all major light sources inside the ship can be switched on or off. And she offers seating and two "onboard cinemas" for up to 18 passengers, and two additional seats inside the cockpit for 2 VIP passengers. Inside the cockpit are also two commando seats for additional crew members. NOTE The original ship has 3 cores: an M core, and two XS cores. But those two XS cores are mainly experimental and have no real design or function value. The version with the waves on the hull is the latest version.
