The Levante - "real" sailboat

The Levante by Hagbard "A person without dreams is like a boat without sails..." The Levante is a sailboat that allows you to experience the wind, the waves, the ride and heeling of a sailboat in DU. Big portions of the voxelwork for the hull was done by Singularity org. **IMPORTANT: read the BP placing instructions below!** BP Dispensers are at Marina Hagbard: ::pos{0,2,38.3028,62.7694,34.7477} I am offering this BP a lot cheaper then usually as i want to see the seas of our planet full with boats, so that you're all able to enjoy this new kind of construct. Features: - accurate simulation of wind, waves and the sea - sails settable by "G" key in 4 levels Shift+G reduces Sail surface by 1/4 - 2 steering options either you can steer with a non centering rudder or with A/D controls similar to how other constructs are being steered. Switch during operation by pressing "Alt+1" - engine limited to marina use (when sails are down). thrust Limit applies(max 10%) - extensively tested on the seas of Alioth (other planets might require adjustments, contact me for assistance) - Wind (&Rudder) Indicator (visible for the helmsman) - configurable sail texts & colors (see LUA parameters) - HoverEngine Technology allows almost infinite fuel autonomy - the Levante is compactable, so take it on your next vacation by the sea ;-) Blueprint Instructions: - there is one manual step required after setting the BP. go to build mode and right click the backward facing hover engine. under Advanced=>"disable thrust along gravity" has to be selected for the backward facing hover engine - if you want to have the original light colors, set back left to "255,0,0" and back right to "0,255,0" front light: enable blinking and set on duration to 0.1 This could be used for Regattas as well, as the speed is defined by the skills of the skipper and his/her ability to find the best course for maximum performance Some "sailing tips": - the speed you can reach depends on your angle towards the wind. the faster you go the more "heel" you will get and the more active correction of your course will be required to stay on a straight line. - It is not possible to sail directly into the wind. To sail against the wind direction you have to "cross". - to moor at your pier the auxiliary engine can be used, but only when the sail is down. It is limited to 10% of max thrust. - if you do not have a proper pier yet, you can hover up a bit using the space bar to get the boat on your plattform... (better build yourself a small marina & pier) - the ECU should always be activated/armed. when you leave the helm, this will keep the boat from sinking to the ground. After jumping on your pier, quickly touch the boat to moore it to the pier. - if you find that the boat is unable to stay on the water surface, this is usually some physic bug in the client. just get out of the seat and try again (maybe after maneuvering the boat a bit) BP's will be made available again soon(TM)

A very fast podracer I built during beta and have revised slightly since the reset. This is an atmosphere-only ship though you may wish to add a space brake for those pesky accidental takeoffs. This should be considered a novelty ship that is not intended to haul. There is no storage built into the ship itself. With appropriate talents, and basic tier flight elements, you can easily reach 1500 kmh in atmosphere. Without talents, you can still likely reach 1500 kmh, but the ship will likely start to burn up.

Skullrizon is a Tribute to the long and well tested Horizon originally made by Capt. Customs..... Major feature changes were made on this model, adapting a AGG and making the design purely utility in nature this ship is crafted with only basic engines and a simplistic cockpit. All Voxels are plastic easy to make in your nanopac. Lighter than the original with lvl 4 and 5 piloting skills. Easy upgradable elements will make the 5kt load even easier than before. The Wyvern Replica is an Homage to it‘s original. It‘s my most favourit ship in DU and was love on the first sight back in the day, so I rebuild it myself to learn how the nice voxelwork was done. The original post is dead, so you can buy this upgraded version of this really beautiful ship at my BP shop in FenixGate. I addad some special things and little easter eggs to it, for example the passive engine imitation: When you entering the pilot seat, the front airinlets change from fading red fire to active blue plasma. The Dragonfly is the result of my first 3 days into Dual Universe. She was designed to lift me off of Haven and to Alioth. Boy, had I known there was rent to be paid, I might have stayed a bit longer. Anyways, the Dragonfly is a reliable and practical ship, biggest I could make her with XS size. She is a hybrid, easily gets you to space and does the Haven-Alioth back and forth trip multiple times before running out of juice. The Dragonfly also comes with a small interior and can be Upped with additional cargo whenever necessary. She is built smart, with maximum maneuverability and ideal weight distribution in mind. And on top of all that, she is pretty. You should be able to build her without the need to purchase anything with an assembly line M and by disassembling the pilot outpost starter base. After 2 Months building and testing, its finally time to release our new Ship the Trinity! It comes in 2 Versions, a Tri Core Scanner and a Cargo Only Version. Both Versions have got a medium Shield Generator and a Warpcore. The Trinity S3 is a Outpost Deployment Ship. It has three Territory Scanners and some space for cargo for all the Elements you need for your Outposts. So right after finding your super worthy tile, you could have everything with you to deploy your Outpost. It should handle around 600t-1kt Materials for your Outposts depending on your piloting Skills. Small Atmo Engines on the side and in the front are making sure you are able to manveuer your Ship to the perfect spot to scan 3 tiles at once. It has T2 Maneuver Engines for longer scan sessions without refuelling and faster warmup times for your engines. The Trinity-C is the Cargo Version. I thought it would be a good idea to do a Cargo Only version because there might be ppl that tend to use the trinity for cargo. The Trinity-S3 isnt made for taking large loads with it, just enough to deploy some Outposts. So here is the Trinity-C with some more Containers on it and Atmo Engines Swapped to Full T2 Military Engines to give you some extra Lift Capacity. It's a bird, it's a plane--no, it's the one and only Solar Brickman. He may not be aerodynamic, but he's here--and he can fly. Clocking in at the full height of an S-Core, the Solar Brickman is more than a smiling face, he's a powerhouse of precision and grace, capable of atmospheric and spaceflight. Features include: - Teleporter on his right foot that takes you directly to the internal command deck (should be usable in VR for a tour!) - A roomy cabin area waiting for you to customize and upgrade. - An emergency escape hatch situated right where his pooper would be. - Equipped with 6-cargo linked Container S, the Brickman has easily lifted 170T into orbit in testing (with my +/- 50% pilot talents). - Plenty of room for a Warp Drive (either drop in his noggin or in the upper cabin compartment). - Want more storage, more engines? Dear Noveans, it is my first ship and it is still not ready yet. It is a prototype and designed to look like a cheap imperial knockoff of the infamouse Firespray 31 aka Slave I, Bobas/Jangos Ship. rare military engines (all sorts, from atmo to space, hover and vertical), small shield, 2 advanced agile railguns s, a pilot and gunner seat with remote control, Warpdrive, Sagas Autopilot Script. It is a gyro ship, however gyro is only used to land and take off in "Fett"-Style :) I will update this entry with time and progress. Feel free to comment and to donate :)

In the middle of a move, contact me via discord to arrange a sale. Czar industries is Proud to present a new line of progression ships for newer players. Reasonably priced, easy to build and all with great functionality. The Tonag is now at v2. It is the perfect first S-Core hauler for newer players. It handles well, flies true, stops on a dime, and carries a crazy amount. Easily carries 1.5Kt off of Alioth and I almost got 2Kt with the 10 Maneuver Atmo engines and 4 Maneuver Space Engines. Reentry with 2.5Kt is a breeze with plenty of braking power. Plenty of interior space and access to almost all of the elements from inside. Cargo is 4 Container L's with 716Kl of storage. Shiny, reliable, efficient.....it's still my favorite ship to use! Warp capable and only 30cells Alioth to Madis with empty cargo. Switches installed to turn everything off and open doors when not in use. Demo model not yet deployed
