The Hemera is an all in one home cruiser, with all the luxury and living space you need for long deep space missions and 14 Large cargo containers for hauling large loads. Some small extra crew containers are positioned in crew quarters and can be configured individually. Various picture screens and boards are located around the ship for you to add LUA,scripts and displays as you like, giving a custom feel to the ship. I revised the original Hemera from 2 XL engines to 4. This increases cross section slightly which means you'll need to push through atmo a little harder, but when the XL's take over the transition into space is much easier which compensates for the slight atmo speed loss. It also makes space hauling easier, I found that the 2 XL's were stressed when carrying heavy loads. The focus on this ship was utility. There is room in the forward deck for either a large shield or DSAT and room in the cockpit to add 2 crew seats for either DSAT management (the DSAT is accessible from one of the optional crew seats in the ceiling just outside the bridge) or to add 2 gunner chairs. Space for ammo containers is available in the cockpit. The ship can also be flown from one of the crew seats for solo piloting and DSAT management. Hauling from atmo is good, up to around 5-6kt (I would stay around 4-5kt since they nerfed adjustors) depending on engines and talents and 4 XL engines make space trucking a breeze. A captains quarters and 2 crew quarters are located near the bridge. On the top deck there is a landing pad for a speeder or warp shuttle. "USS Langley, (CV-1/AV-3)" - The first US Navy Aircraft Carrier 1920-1942 While this is not a replica of that famous ship, it carries that famous name. The ship has been created as a no-nonsense purpose-built work ship. There are no Deco elements (there is room to add them if you desire), there are no fancy board rooms or lighting elements and plants and frilly things. The total element count is 633. The Langley has a large flat carrier deck that is greater than the size of an M core ship, as such it can accommodate the largest M core ships in the game while they have a full load, and that is what it was built for. While this is not a "Hauler" there are 34 Advanced Optimised L Containers below deck, 4 of them for Warp Cell and miscellaneous storage. There is a massive area "On Deck" to place cargo packs or containers and your favorite ships up to a fully loaded M core. The ship has been tested with 16kt of cargo off and on to a 1G planet it is being rated at 16kt, more than that is the Pilots responsibility. There are 30x Advanced Military atmospheric engines to push this to space, and 4x Advanced Military space engines to get it to max space speed. Space Thrusters are included to make navigation at a space station easy. There is space to add 8 more ATMO Engines if you do not use an AGG. Please take some time to compare the STATS to other ships. Borg Cube style Cube, yes! this beast is S-core build, but easily out-performs most M-core and even some L-core builds. It has 2x XL space engines and 12x L atmo engines, with bunch of wings. I did 7.5kt (7500 tons) with this beast and it held together just fine, low alt lift was barely enough, but i managed to get it to 3500m and hold it there just fine, landing can be rough if you dont have enough space, but land it like a plane! just be careful with arch, DO NOT press "G" to land, lower the altitude yourself, because arch does not consider your ship's weight, it will SLAM you into ground. best part is adjustors, it has perfect adjustor placement, because well .. it's a CUBE! it turns better than any other ship (not a joke) and center of mass is almost in center, maybe off by 2%. Container hub is also right in the center, so if you fill it with cargo, then center of mass will be exactly in center. comes with 10x L containers, but there's enough room inside for more stuff. it has basic interior to keep the weight down, but also so its easy to repair the elements in case you damage them. So in atmo it does 7.5kt (including ship's weight), but you can put more hovers on it or replace hovers for vboosters and put more wings on it and i think it will handle 9-10kt in atmo, however i doubt it lifts more than 5kt into space, might get 6kt if you know how to fly, but you might end up taking some heat damage. you can further modify it by adding downwards space engines and it should easily get 6kt into space. This truly is the most powerful S-core ship i have built or seen and it has room for improvements, i just don't like to build ships with too many elements as they start lagging real bad :(

So ever wanted a super balanced nice on fuel and good looking hauler! Here is my answer for the medium class of hauler the Alterran by ADMI! clocking in at 1.7ktons with fuel full and lvl 5 talents for flight (working on Hp) she can pickup in the area of 2.8ktons no flight talents and basic setup to 7ktons with better engines and good talents for flight! (unless nq fixes the gravity-inverted containers lol then more). A new feature is on this ship from ADMI and that is balanced load blocks. There are 3 containers you can find them in the front that are 1 small basic and 2 xs basic containers. Fill these with iron and you should never need to move anything but these containers to balance the Alterran. I used pure iron and put 12kl in the small and 1500L in front xs and 750 in back xs to give myself different weights to balance with. if you should ever overload her and need a balancing hand so your not waisting the ships power instead of moving engines or warp or messing up a build just move a container! 1-4 clicks usually balances any load. (note if you stay in the 3kton range and load the balance containers then youll never need to move anything the ship is balnced for loaded and empty!
