When you enter the cockpit simply press "Shift 1" and the forcefields will lower and the shuttle bay lights will turn on. The forcefields and lights will close/turn off 10 seconds later. When flying back to the ship simply dock while in flight Alt+T and then "Shift 2" and the forcefields will again turn off and the shuttle bay lights will turn on. These will stay open/on. After landing inside the ship as you walk into the main body of the ship you will trip a laser and this will trigger the forcefields to turn on and shuttle bay lights to turn off. Tri scanner for lots of scanning i updated it for the brakes update and made it a little more effecient. The IDS has 2 10 packs one of xs and one of small for material territory units and the like. also has 6 seperated xs containers in main haul for seperating scans its very stable with nice vtol and easy to balance.
