MC Industries presents the Basic Platform S, a multi-purpose S core platform that is designed for low cost and maximal utility while presenting a heavy-duty industrial aesthetic reminiscent of offshore drilling platforms. The tall pillars upon which the platform rests allows for the most flexibility for placement on uneven terrain with minimal terraforming, that a small core would allow. Only tier1 materials are used, so it could be deployed quite soon after launch. It can easily be used as a remote mining platform. Six openings in the floor allow mining beams to penetrate and the raised platform allows plenty of room for ore to spawn beneath the mining units for easy collection. The interior features a display stand with space for two large transparent screens and shelves for placing container hubs, programming boards, detection zones and all the other elements needed to support mining and factory LUA applications. There is enough space for 10 Container L inside, plus the mining units and even a few industry units for ore or fuel refining. The roof of the structure can be used as a landing pad for small craft with a ladder providing access. If you don't want the mining unit holes in the floor, a simple copy-paste operation can be done to replace them with a floor segment that is solid. Though the photos show some elements placed, the blueprint is supplied without any elements. Just voxels. You can grow and expand the amenities like LUA and larger containers as Noveans manufacturing capabilities expand after launch. So if you want a mining or industry platform that is cheap to build but looks better than a flat piece of silicon honeycomb and can grow with your Novean talents, take a look at the Basic Platform S from MC Industries.

The X50 is the big brother of the X40. It is uppgraded with a L container and 8 L MU´s, you can mine all that you need. And with the X50 there are coming a an uppgrade that will blow you mind so keep an eye out on this one!

The bottom of the tower can be sunken into the land as far as needed and has ladders for access from the ground. Add a surrogate pad and you can easily VR there to calibrate your off-world tiles. The landing pad on top fits S core ships easily and provides EZ access to all 8 miners and the Hub. Landing activates the screen which shows how much ore is currently available. LUA included. Landing pad on top, nice spacious hangar, plenty of room for industry and storage all in a colorful package. Easy to expand with access doors on 3 sides to add more landing space. Let off steam after a long day in the factory on your own functional basketball court. Use the manoeuvre tool to throw the balls across the court into the hoop. Lasers in the hoop detect the balls and trigger one of four lights on the backboard.
