The DBI LASH-1 (Light Atmospheric Scanning Hauler) is an efficient scanning vessel for those players looking to get in to scanning. This Small Core ship comes equipped with a single Basic Container Large and enough power to move it when fully loaded. As an atmospheric ship, the LASH utilizes a very open and minimalistic design aesthetic, reminiscent of construction vehicles once used on Earth. Scan tiles, harvest surface ore to pass the time, and move along to the next scan site. Even if you don't find that T3 ore site, you won't be coming back empty handed! Even if you're not scanning, the single large container allows you to utilize the ship as a handy market runner or flower harvester! Modifying this ship to be space-friendly would be a piece of cake, given the extra room and open design. A few space engines, a few retro-rocket brakes, and you'll be scanning all around Helios in no time. Selling an old truck, may have had its best times in the 90s. High mileage some scratches and wrinkles but it got a good polish. The engine isnt leaking oil , smells good and drinks a lot. Brakes ok and 1946 Kl of space for ur smuggler loot isnt bad. Suspension takes up to 4000t, belongs to your driving skills. Repairs are expensive cause its a lot of special parts, actually its in a good condition. one cryo pod is giving red warning light, may need repairs, havent looked into it... ill read the manual that comes with it. And so as he toiled away in the darkness of Thades shadow at the Crash Industries skunkworks, the Cambria took shape. A T shape to be exact. But how would Resource achieve the high altitude lift he wanted, no required AND avoid a wall of engines? These are the challenges that drive some mad as they rebreathe the same stale air inside their helmets. The space anguish spiraled out of control as the ship went from 2, no 4, no 4.5 containers! Just when some would break down in a pile of mangled voxels, Resource looked up and saw his masterpiece. His first thought? I wonder if I can cram a medium shield in there? ... the answer was yes.
