Roll in with one of these ships and watch their jaws drop. When I park at Market 6, I regularly come back out to find multiple people crawling all over this ship checking it out. I currently have the following options available at my ship showroom: a) Advanced Military atmo engines and Advanced Freight Space engines. This is the default. b) Advanced Military atmo engines (50%) and Advanced Freight atmo engines (50%). This gives you much better fuel economy and lighter weight, in exchange for slightly less lift. c) Uncommon Military/Freight atmo (50%/50%) and Advanced Freight Space engines. This is to make entry level to this ship more affordable to build. ... but no need to wait for me, you are free to upgrade this ship as you like. Modifications since beta: I've added double the atmo engines, added a few Space Engine Ls, and a bunch of aileron Ms. I also moved space and added atmo radar to the front where they're not blocked. I also added a few other tweaks like adding an extra atmo fuel tank for the new engines, a Resurrection node in the PvP room, a VR station in one of the bedrooms, and more. With the default Advanced Military version, I've personally escaped atmo with 5kT onboard. I have L5 talents for thrust and L4 for all other flight metrics. It'll lift more with maxed talents when you get them! We are purposely keeping the price quite high because this ship will be exclusive. So ever wanted a super balanced nice on fuel and good looking hauler! Here is my answer for the medium class of hauler the Alterran by ADMI! clocking in at 1.7ktons with fuel full and lvl 5 talents for flight (working on Hp) she can pickup in the area of 2.8ktons no flight talents and basic setup to 7ktons with better engines and good talents for flight! (unless nq fixes the gravity-inverted containers lol then more). A new feature is on this ship from ADMI and that is balanced load blocks. There are 3 containers you can find them in the front that are 1 small basic and 2 xs basic containers. Fill these with iron and you should never need to move anything but these containers to balance the Alterran. I used pure iron and put 12kl in the small and 1500L in front xs and 750 in back xs to give myself different weights to balance with. if you should ever overload her and need a balancing hand so your not waisting the ships power instead of moving engines or warp or messing up a build just move a container! 1-4 clicks usually balances any load. (note if you stay in the 3kton range and load the balance containers then youll never need to move anything the ship is balnced for loaded and empty! The Geo Scanner MK1 is an atmospheric tile scanning S sized core that can rapidly scan tiles. This tri-scanner features three territory scanners that are conveniently arranged for quick access from inside the ship, saving the pilot time from jumping in and out of the hull to operate scanners. Four T2 Uncommon Maneuver Engines L are installed to take advantage of the four second warmup time, which is two times better than the basic engine L. This allows for the Geo Scanner to be quickly deployed to its next location. Large adjusters are optimally placed to give the ship a faster reaction time when lining up the scanners with the three territories being scanned. The Stellarwing is an exercise in minimalism. Available in both cargo and warp versions. Its fitted with a few chairs if you care to take your alts or friends along with you. For those using it as an alt carrier, you can easily fit a res node inside the ship covering the upper hatch. She also has minimal cross-section, so even when using rare militaries, has good fuel consumption. We won't lie the warp version is far from the fastest, but by using only medium engines, it has exceptional fuel consumption. She warps from Alioth to Teoma on 14 warp cells fully fueled, which isn't bad for something a little more brash than a warp drive with wings and a few engines. She also has storage to store a warp drive in the cargo and will make it to space with decent skills and a patient pilot in this configuration (3's should do it). In cargo mode, she has 4 xs containers and 2 s. More than enough for whipping around to the market and small pick-ups. She'll easily carry 100t, with 200 not being out of the question with a patient pilot. She'll cruise at over 2000 with altitude without popping components. It may also overshoot its braking point. The ship has been well balanced and has no nasty handling characteristics if you are flying manually, it is also capable of carrying weight. However, It is purely designed as a warp shuttle, it is not really made to carry anything more than you and full tanks. If you want to carry anything mroe significant than 10-20t or blueprints, the Rouen may be a better choice. (or the new WIP shuttle which will be released soon, which sits between the Rouen and the StellarWing).
