The Seawing S20 is an Old-Earth Hybrid Heavy Lift Long Range Transport Aircraft. Predating the founding of Seawing Hypersonics, the S20 takes a different philosophy to moving payloads to space. Whether empty or hauling a kiloton the massive amalgam wing's custom tuned aerodynamics do all of the work, enabling a steady climb even with the nose NOT raised above the horizon. The wing itself is capable of safely deorbiting payloads up to 3,500t, providing almost 48MN of lifting force. The ship remains highly agile even while hauling its recommended payload of 800t. Designed as a platform for various modules, the dorsal docking port on the S20 supports the attachment of additional cargo pods, the S10 or S32 Scout ships, a DSAT module, or a Tri Scanner. Featuring two crew positions and two jumpseats, the S20 interior is designed to be cozy and make the most of a minimal floorplan with a workhorse aesthetic. The cockpit view is good to excellent, with effort made in ensuring good visibility at all head angles. Modern S20's have been refit with Moltres™ shield technology, enabling them to withstand reentry and atmospheric cruising speeds that would destroy all but the most advanced of its peers. With the refit shield in place, they are capable of hypersonic cruising speeds of 8000+km/h in atmosphere.

The Dragonfly is the result of my first 3 days into Dual Universe. She was designed to lift me off of Haven and to Alioth. Boy, had I known there was rent to be paid, I might have stayed a bit longer. Anyways, the Dragonfly is a reliable and practical ship, biggest I could make her with XS size. She is a hybrid, easily gets you to space and does the Haven-Alioth back and forth trip multiple times before running out of juice. The Dragonfly also comes with a small interior and can be Upped with additional cargo whenever necessary. She is built smart, with maximum maneuverability and ideal weight distribution in mind. And on top of all that, she is pretty. You should be able to build her without the need to purchase anything with an assembly line M and by disassembling the pilot outpost starter base. The Levante by Hagbard "A person without dreams is like a boat without sails..." The Levante is a sailboat that allows you to experience the wind, the waves, the ride and heeling of a sailboat in DU. Features: - accurate simulation of wind, waves and the sea - sails settable by "G" key in 4 levels Shift+G reduces Sail surface by 1/4 - 2 steering options either you can steer with a non centering rudder or with A/D controls similar to how other constructs are being steered. Switch during operation by pressing "Alt+1" - engine limited to marina use (when sails are down). thrust Limit applies(max 10%) - extensively tested on the seas of Alioth (other planets might require adjustments, contact me for assistance) - Wind (&Rudder) Indicator (visible for the helmsman) - configurable sail texts & colors (see LUA parameters) - HoverEngine Technology allows almost infinite fuel autonomy - the Levante is compactable, so take it on your next vacation by the sea ;-) Blueprint Instructions: - there is one manual step required after setting the BP. go to build mode and right click the backward facing hover engine. under Advanced=>"disable thrust along gravity" has to be selected for the backward facing hover engine - if you want to have the original light colors, set back left to "255,0,0" and back right to "0,255,0" front light: enable blinking and set on duration to 0.1 This could be used for Regattas as well, as the speed is defined by the skills of the skipper and his/her ability to find the best course for maximum performance Some "sailing tips": - the speed you can reach depends on your angle towards the wind. the faster you go the more "heel" you will get and the more active correction of your course will be required to stay on a straight line. - It is not possible to sail directly into the wind. To sail against the wind direction you have to "cross". - to moor at your pier the auxiliary engine can be used, but only when the sail is down. It is limited to 10% of max thrust. - if you do not have a proper pier yet, you can hover up a bit using the space bar to get the boat on your plattform... (better build yourself a small marina & pier) - the ECU should always be activated/armed. when you leave the helm, this will keep the boat from sinking to the ground. After jumping on your pier, quickly touch the boat to moore it to the pier. - if you find that the boat is unable to stay on the water surface, this is usually some physic bug in the client. just get out of the seat and try again (maybe after maneuvering the boat a bit) BP's will be made available again soon(TM)

The third iteration of my daily flyer, a monster of a ship strapped to a small core. Easily takes over 2 kT from Alioth with room to spare. Perfect mission flyer and doing all your daily business barring hauling megaton nodes home. A few highlights: - Absurd flight handling. has a great mass balancing and turns like an XS core. Can do flips in mid-air or brake, turn and take off in the opposite direction without a hitch. (see rotation matrix) - Very low profile. Without resorting to angled engines, the front surface is kept to an absolute minimum. Using Seawing's flush wings and carefully placing engines in a staggered formation creates vey low drag. (See max speed, capped at 1250 to prevent burns) - Depending on your final configuration and load, it has a exceptional acceleration and brake force and takes off and lands like an overgrown pocket rocket. 5G thrust empty, drops to 1G at 2200 tonnes - It may not be your taste but I tried my best to cover the elements with voxels and shape something decent out of it. It even has a cockpit which is extremely rare for utilitarian ships like this. - Excellent storage, the bulk of the ship is shaped by the XL container, it provides enough space for anything you want to carry, it will be too heavy before it is full unless you are transporting Lumi voxels. Easy access from all sides by linkes XS containers in the wings and nose. Weight balanced in the rear by the hub. - Only needs one large space and atmos fuel tank for all engines, flies for days when half full, easy to refill from all sides. Feel free to ask for a spin in one of these, I am more than happy to discuss the final setup. Cost will be depending on your configuration but we have stock to deploy your personal ship in any. Even with basics it will outperform many ships out there, just out of luxury and because I use it daily, I equipped it with over the top rare military and maneuver grade engines, boosters and hovers and put in a rare optimised XL container too boot.
