The main pic is in the harshest possible light to show any imperfections so you're not getting a MySpace angle. This is my pride and joy, a lovingly created M core Enterprise-D. An L core will follow based on what I learned. Off the bridge is the lush Captain's Quarters with all the modern amenities for any Captain that needs time alone to ponder breaking the Prime Directive. Off the other side is the main corridor which curves forward to an integrated weapons control centre. This can access the rear sides of the embedded forward saucer lasers and their associated ammo containers. Off the main corridor are the lab, then passing the lounge and lavatory as one loops back around the rear saucer to enter the rear-centrally located Main Engineering where M Shield and Warp Drive are accessible. Passing to the other side of the saucer is a large segmented area that is open for your own customization, currently acting as general crew quarters. She has L Military Engines in her nacelles, a pair of M Military on the neck flaps and two more on the rear belly for a surprising amount of 'full impulse'. The saucer is packed with embedded L Adjustors giving her great agility. She can respond to pirates by using her high space thrust to get the enemy within M Laser range, shields up, open fire, close to S Laser range, make a pass, 180, fire rearward missiles. Hopefully by then they are deterred but if it comes to a slugfest you're not out much quanta as if you can screenshot your loss I'll give you another BP copy for free. Fully Loaded Alioth - Jago: 10 WCs only! - - - WARP TUBE A stylish, well-designed warp shuttle that holds two XS containers. Everything has been optimized and reduced to minimum to save on weight and thus on warp cell consumption. The hovers function also as low-consumption propulsion that can be used for low distances, and provide above 160 km/h without usage of any regular engine. The Warp Tube also features two diagonal rocket engines (800 L) that help to avert any crashes due to inexperience by giving lift and forward speed at the sme time, and also help lifting off from space platforms. Strong lights illuminate dark areas where you try to land. Last but surely not least, the boat is packed with brakes to such extend, that - to give an example - landing from orbit on Jago's surface does not require any engine thrust! With other words, as part of the weight reduction the fuel consumption has been minimized, too. That leaves more space for cargo. The Gnome is all basic engine warp shuttle. Does 15 cells to jago fully fueled and 100 warp cells in cargo. all stats are with full lvl 5 bonus but 0 pilot skills. It is made to be a cheap but still easy to fly warp shuttle. And with only Medium elements easy to make. We are proud to (re)introduce the BIGFOOT S-Core Heavy Cargo. This is a sleek and very capable hauler and was designed with easy flying and lots of cargo in mind. BIGFOOT will carry up several kilotons off 1G planets within its 8 containers L, all with a smile and look good doing it. With a fully detailed interior you can relax after a hard days mining. For solo players or small groups this is an ideal hauler. For optimization purpose, elements have been selected based on maxed talents. This means ship will get better as your piloting talents go up, and reach full potential at higher levels. Your piloting talents will determine max cargo capacity. Hard limit tested with T2 engines for 1g is around 5kt net cargo (and much more on lower g environments), but be warned this has been achieved only with close to every possible maxed talent. So depending on your pilot talents and handling talents applied on ship, the following should be much easier and safer: T1 engines: 1-2kt T2 engines: 3-4kt All elements are visible and can be accessed from outside or engineering room for repair and/or linking (no obstructed atmo brakes!). This is a basic spaceplane with: 1)Ability to carry 21kL (<100t I guess ) in Atmo, very useful for hauling missions. 2)Low sustention speed and good maneuverability 3)Good space autonomy (an hour at full thrust) 4)Bad atmospheric autonomy(relatively. Full thrust will give you 700 km/h and ~1SU of flight. Can be increased by increasing your height or lowering the speed) 5)Good brakes 6)Maneuver engines for parking (thrust forward and sideways). Those have a separate fuel tank, so if you run out of fuel, just land and pump out of here. Elements: Most of them are basic and can be crafted in your backpack (exceptions are: container hub, M atmo-engine, cockpit, ECU and some decorative materials like luminescent glass) HUD: I'm using Albatross custom HUD for it's simplicity and height managing options (useful for hauling... just hit Alt-3 and you can leave it flying forward at set height). Cons are fuel displays: 50% means that you have run out of fuel for main engines...And only maneuver engines are left. RDMS: didn't touch it at all. That in return resulted in a low drag amount and therefore high possible speeds if powered adequatly. Overheating starts at 1,800 km/h, first damage at around 2,300 km/h. At the edge of the atmosphere, in suborbit, no damage and overheating, and speeds in excess of 4,000 km/h. Black Icarus is my first supersonic heat-resistant ship build, it's cheap to make, but packs a punch! It's designed as fast travel ship as it can do 3000+km/h in atmosphere without taking heat damage. It uses specialized heat shield to prevent heat damage, see it in action on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kps0fKjOGPo This ship is good for running your daily errands quickly! It has enough cargo capactiy and lift to be able to carry stuff from/to markets and you can also do some surface mining. it takes 30-60 minutes to fill the cargo with ore when surface mining (depending on areas and talents) and that's something that most people are willing to do and this ship is perfect for those runs, it can circle entire alioth in under 10 minutes. It's not perfect as this was my first supersonic ship and you might break a wing or brake here and there, but just take it easy and you'll be fine. making sudden / sharp turns while going supersonic can cause more damage, so when going supersonic, keep it as steady as possible. I highly recommend custom hud with altitude hold capabilites, because it's most effective at about 1-2% atmo, you can keep throttle at about 10% and it will go 3000+ easily, while barely spending any fuel. I used this ship for my daily errands for a week before i had to refuel. It's rather cheap to build and uses all the basic parts. NOTE - i have NOT tested cargo lift, but based on stats, it should be able to do about 1200 tons depending on talents. I think most i ever did was 700t and it didn't have any issues.
