She's pretty. She got curves. She makes you easily fly high. She lets you see what others don't. She gives you a cozy place and she carries your stuff. She's the companion you wanted for all operations that are too small for a fuel-hungry super hauler. The "Not-For-Hire" (some know this name from a great SciFi novel) is a great companion for small- and mid-scale mining operations, and for hauling if you got a lot to move but not as much that a huge, fuel-consuming super hauler would make sense. The colors of the ship are snow white and Martian red. Her modern cockpit has style and gives you an amazing view while you fly. Her strong downward and forward illumination makes you see where you land during dark nights. And her extremely good wing lift gets her airborn with as less as 150 km/h. Also excellent gliding capability for mean stingy captains who want to save on fuel. The ship allows access or exit from five of the six sides, allowing ops where speed is key. She has a forward-facing hangar that can carry various speedboats, mini haulers, or armed fighters. Alternatively, the hangar can be used as forward-facing weapon platform. Dedicated storage for hangar vehicles. Dedicated accessories storage and of course the main cargo containers for freight. She is not meant to cruise alone inside PVP zones, but she still has a shield generator. The strong landing lights can be switched on or off, and also all major light sources inside the ship can be switched on or off. And she offers seating and two "onboard cinemas" for up to 18 passengers, and two additional seats inside the cockpit for 2 VIP passengers. Inside the cockpit are also two commando seats for additional crew members. NOTE The original ship has 3 cores: an M core, and two XS cores. But those two XS cores are mainly experimental and have no real design or function value. The version with the waves on the hull is the latest version. As he clawed his way into the launch of Dual Universe, Resource was heard screaming, "NO SHOEBOXES". Surely a ship could be built that could satisfy the detailed mind of a this ship builder with performance we all want, NO EXPECT without looking like a shoebox. And so as he toiled away in the darkness of Thades shadow at the Crash Industries skunkworks, the Cambria took shape. A T shape to be exact. But how would Resource achieve the high altitude lift he wanted, no required AND avoid a wall of engines? These are the challenges that drive some mad as they rebreathe the same stale air inside their helmets. The space anguish spiraled out of control as the ship went from 2, no 4, no 4.5 containers! Just when some would break down in a pile of mangled voxels, Resource looked up and saw his masterpiece. His first thought? I wonder if I can cram a medium shield in there? ... the answer was yes. The Cambria by WarpForged is a small core (small footprint) hauler that safely lifts two XL mission packages (2.8+ kt in 4L & 1M containers) from Alioth's surface with level 4 pilot talents. This hauler is made for everyone who needs to get stuff done. It's a good looking ship without a bunch of extra elements you're going to have to repair if the inevitable happens. Highly maneuverable runabout designed for traversing large space stations quickly and efficiently. Starlantis and Utopia II for example. Skullrizon is a Tribute to the long and well tested Horizon originally made by Capt. Customs..... Major feature changes were made on this model, adapting a AGG and making the design purely utility in nature this ship is crafted with only basic engines and a simplistic cockpit. "Valdez V2" Built as a Serious hauling Vessel. The ship has been created as a no-nonsense purpose-built work ship. There are no Deco elements, there are no fancy board rooms or lighting elements and plants and frilly things. Very easy to deploy with alternate color choices. The total element count is 512 as delivered. The Valdez uses 18 Advanced Optimized L containers for Cargo and 2 Advanced Optimized M containers for Scrap & Warp Cells. There are 24 Advanced Military Atmospheric Engines & 4 Advanced Safe Space Engines. It has been tested leaving Sanctuary with 10kt of Cargo (12.6 kt total ship mass). It will surely lift more from a 1g planet but 10kt it what it is being rated at. This is not a build for the Novice player, due to the expense of the elements, however it will fly well in the hands of any pilot. - AGG and Warp drive are built in. - ALL elements on the ship that can be boosted, are boosted to level 5 NON PvP skills. - All listed attributes were taken while in VR so they reflect zero pilot skills, and the ship was dry and empty.
