The plan was to test out how to make a space station about 65KM from the planet. Assuming I'd succeed the idea behind the station was to use it for making fuel and basic scrap without having to land on the planet. So I obviously succeeded at making the space station however, the location was completely wrong for the job. It turns out you need to make the space stations away from where your bases are and stock them with resources you need at those locations. That said it was fun doing it for the first time and the views are super.

Small control center in the middle along with walking surfaces that can connect to other cores or remove them if not needed. Tons of storage/indy space available under each pad. The Building is mostly made out of carbon honeycomb(matte and glossy) and only some decorational elements like lights and windows. No longer will you need to make element only ships deep in space, put some voxels on it and style that thing up! PvPers, come on, put a skin on that naked hot dog you're shooting with. Easy to use LUA control for the honeycomb machines (html needs to be enabled for T3 due to a technical issue with Aerogics honeycomb script so using SilverZero's older script that still works like a champ).
