The Anisoptera v3 X2 (internal code name: "Blitz Dual") is the latest version of this famous dragonfly-alike designer speedboat, ihere as the two-seater version. The original designs called for a fast boat that could fit many different types of ship hangars, thus the resulting concept was that of a very slender ship hull. That in return resulted in a low drag amount and therefore high possible speeds if powered adequatly. Overheating starts at 1,800 km/h, first damage at around 2,300 km/h. At the edge of the atmosphere, in suborbit, no damage and overheating, and speeds in excess of 4,000 km/h. The version 3 has the following improvements over V2: - even higher speed (same atmospheric 2,300 km/h as before but now beyond 5,000 km/h suborbit) - slightly increased wing lift capacity - more brake power - passenger seat And the best is: from the outside there is almost no difference! The Ugly Swan is a medium ship and probably the largest ship I will make in Dual Universe working by myself. This is based on how long it took me to source all the parts (purchased and manufactured). I am please with how it performs as it does function as I intended however, this ship is a great example, of trying to put too much on any one ship and left me with a very small number of choices for arranging the times to fit properly. The functions this ship fulfils are: Warp capable carrier, capable of carrying one small ship on the landing pad and two xs ships in the landing bays on the sides. Though the xs bays do not fit a full size xs ship. Territory scanner ship. Three territory scanners one on each corner. One DSAT for homing in on Asteroids. People transporter with a viewing area (Glass seating area) with a view of space / planet. 1G Atmospheric fight capable Space flight capable. Storage for resources though my really intention was to leave it in space while you shuttle back and forward in one of the docked ships. So the storage capacity is really meant to be on the docked ships. I designed it to carry the Elemental with a full load and carry the xs ships along with the filing its own cargo hold (four times the Elemental's capacity). I have not stress tested this ship, due to time constraints, but I can confirm it can carry the Elemental with cargo in and out of the atmosphere (At least 3.5Kt of cargo). Max speed is speed in space, the max atmospheric speed without burning up is 1000Km/h. The atmo thrust and space thrust values are forward thrust only (I do have thrust in other directions). Also it has four rocket engines because who does not like rocket engines.

UPDATE: I have just upgraded the ship to latest specs compatible with the released game. Also upgraded most rooms, like the lounge and crew cabins etc. There is now even a Space Café on the ship :) ILLYRIA is my Flagship - The ship weighs several thousand ton, is ca. 128m long and has a cargo capacity of over 1 million liters. It also has 2 XL Space Engines + 2 Medium Space Engines for a total thrust of over 50 Million Newtons. Further, it has 14 Large Atmospheric Engines with 70+ Million N thrust. There is an Emergency Control Unit on the ship and in case you get killed, a resurrection pod is there as well. All critical elements are shielded by several layers of hardened steel. High End Elements include a large Warp Drive and the Anti-Gravity Generator. Illyria is primarily a Capital Cargo Ship - but I could not leave her completely defenseless, therefore I also put 2 Large Railguns on it. Space Radar is also included. Creature Comfort comes in the form of 10 Crew Cabins, with all furniture, Captain's Quarters, and 2 Forward - the R&R area - the largest interior area on the ship. There is also a Hydroponics Bay - for those long travels when you need to be able to grow your own vegetables :) The hull is made of polished stainless steel, glossy iron, glossy copper, and more metals with double and triple layers. We are proud to (re)introduce the BIGFOOT S-Core Heavy Cargo. This is a sleek and very capable hauler and was designed with easy flying and lots of cargo in mind. BIGFOOT will carry up several kilotons off 1G planets within its 8 containers L, all with a smile and look good doing it. With a fully detailed interior you can relax after a hard days mining. For solo players or small groups this is an ideal hauler. For optimization purpose, elements have been selected based on maxed talents. This means ship will get better as your piloting talents go up, and reach full potential at higher levels. Your piloting talents will determine max cargo capacity. Hard limit tested with T2 engines for 1g is around 5kt net cargo (and much more on lower g environments), but be warned this has been achieved only with close to every possible maxed talent. So depending on your pilot talents and handling talents applied on ship, the following should be much easier and safer: T1 engines: 1-2kt T2 engines: 3-4kt All elements are visible and can be accessed from outside or engineering room for repair and/or linking (no obstructed atmo brakes!). With Mk2 comes a reworked interior, lighter honeycombs, spot for a DSAT / small landing pad, and spots for 3 scanners.
