PVP/PVE SHIP - SPACE ONLY! Playing a vital role in the naval forces of the Martian Congressional Republic, and loaded with many of the cutting-edge military technologies that have come to define the Martian approach to warfare, the MCRN Corvette, or Corvette-Class Light Frigate, is a powerful and well-rounded attack craft, whose mission profile ranges from lethal anti-capital strikes to troop deployment and fleet escort duties. Though the vessel is named "Corvette Class" the ship is in fact a Light Frigate, but was designed specifically to fill the maneuverable fleet escort role historically attributed to corvettes, and named accordingly. As well as playing a crucial part in most MCRN battlegroups, the Corvette is often deployed as a patrol vessel, customs enforcement craft and reconnaissance ship, taking advantage of its long range and versatility to serve the cause of the Martian Republic across the breadth of the solar system. This ship is a pvp-fitted replica of the MCRN Tachi or later Rocinante from the scifi show 'The Expanse' and comes with 3 interior decks aswell as some additional free space in the "engineering" deck below a hatch in the lowest interior deck. This version, compared to Destrin's amazing M core replica, sports her original MCRN colors in her paintjob. The blueprint of the ship comes without weapons, as to make deploying the blueprint easier (and less expensive). The ship's default orientation is vertical and can switch to horizontal (normal) flight via gyroscope. You can either toggle it via ArchHUD on the pilot controller seat with alt+9 or you can toggle it in first person from either the gunner seat or pilot seat. Hand crafted with the highest level of voxel detail and deliberate element placement of any ship I’ve made before. The Calico has everything you need in a warp shuttle and so much more. Inspired by the Star Atlas “Calico Hero” and adapted to the mechanics of Dual Universe; the Calico is engineered to rival any small core warp shuttle available in game. Entering the ship from either side will reveal a wide open cargo hold for installing additional containers or securely storing an XS speeder. On the front walls you will find switches for toggling on/off the lights and screens throughout the ship and on the back wall 3 Programming Boards. The top Programming Board enables the Ship Info script found in the cockpit. The reinforced door leads to the cockpit and up the stairs to the two main flight controllers, both of which come with Arch HUD GFN version preinstalled. When seated you will find a screen displaying the Shield Activator Script (written by RobRocketPants and updated by FinalX) and a screen displaying Ship Info (script by Krengus of ASTco) for easy access while flying. The unique glass canopy spanning the length of the ship provides the pilot and passengers with an unparalleled sense of openness and spatial awareness. Towards the back of the ship and either side of the Resurrection Node are access ladders to the living quarters. From the living quarters you have access to the fuel tanks, however 2 hatches on the roof can also be used to access the same tanks from outside. The default is our recommended engine loadout however you can easily swap any engine using the flat surfaces found behind the engines when removed. For her first finding, we bring you Giedi Prime. An imposing image of darkened aluminum, precision cut for a sleek look, this ship seems likely to have been used as a daily driver in another dimension. It seems to be quite well-rounded in performance and has two small drones to help with ship maneuvering. Around 200kL of storage, eight large engines (4 atmo, 4 space), and warp drive, this ship seems to be able to handle any job that's under 1-1.5 kilotons depending on talents and skills. Coming in at a dry weight of under 500 tons, it warps pretty inexpensively considering its size and power. Military atmospheric engines help you punch out of Alioth's grasp with ease, and the Safe space engines firing on twice as fast as maneuvers will make you feel like you're hitting the NOS in space. Giedi Prime has a little bit of space for some cozy living quarters, but it comes unfurnished as each person's needs differ and the alien world this came from is definitely not anything like ours here in the Helios system. The ship is on display at the Kosmos Showroom (you can VR there), and the blueprints are available there as well as at the Alioth Exchange in the green hall (just look for the giant tree!).
