Featuring an all T1 loadout leaving ample room for upgrades, the Tiger's carefully tuned layout and minimized cross section achieves (with placement buffs and talents) a top speed of 2,500km/h in atmosphere. The ship comes with a modular XL cargo pod consisting of 3 L containers, which enables the ship to handle 1.8kt delivery missions. Like all our ships, the X50 prototype was subjected to over 300+ high speed burn stress flights, with adjustments made after every single flight to reduce burning of its functional elements. The cumulative results of this work is a very high degree of heat resistance baked into the hull design, enabling it to shrug off and push through flames that would have long melted rival ships. The Tiger sits in an ideal middle ground for daily driving. Light enough to handle like a nimble bird when empty, yet with the muscle to move all the ore you'd need to on a daily basis. Its modest tonnage allows for warps that, while not so cheap as a shuttle, won't break the bank either! Black Icarus is my first supersonic heat-resistant ship build, it's cheap to make, but packs a punch! It's designed as fast travel ship as it can do 3000+km/h in atmosphere without taking heat damage. It uses specialized heat shield to prevent heat damage, see it in action on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kps0fKjOGPo This ship is good for running your daily errands quickly! It has enough cargo capactiy and lift to be able to carry stuff from/to markets and you can also do some surface mining. it takes 30-60 minutes to fill the cargo with ore when surface mining (depending on areas and talents) and that's something that most people are willing to do and this ship is perfect for those runs, it can circle entire alioth in under 10 minutes. It's not perfect as this was my first supersonic ship and you might break a wing or brake here and there, but just take it easy and you'll be fine. making sudden / sharp turns while going supersonic can cause more damage, so when going supersonic, keep it as steady as possible. I highly recommend custom hud with altitude hold capabilites, because it's most effective at about 1-2% atmo, you can keep throttle at about 10% and it will go 3000+ easily, while barely spending any fuel. I used this ship for my daily errands for a week before i had to refuel. It's rather cheap to build and uses all the basic parts. NOTE - i have NOT tested cargo lift, but based on stats, it should be able to do about 1200 tons depending on talents. I think most i ever did was 700t and it didn't have any issues.

Modifications since beta: I've added double the atmo engines, added a few Space Engine Ls, and a bunch of aileron Ms. I also moved space and added atmo radar to the front where they're not blocked. I also added a few other tweaks like adding an extra atmo fuel tank for the new engines, a Resurrection node in the PvP room, a VR station in one of the bedrooms, and more. With the default Advanced Military version, I've personally escaped atmo with 5kT onboard. I have L5 talents for thrust and L4 for all other flight metrics. It'll lift more with maxed talents when you get them! We are purposely keeping the price quite high because this ship will be exclusive. The Valkyrie RAR represents the newest addition of the Metsys Industrial Systems' fleet of purpose-crafted spacefaring vessels, as well as the continued progression of craftsmanship of this rather quiet manufacturing shipyard. With their goal of creating a reliable all-rounder ship, capable of fulfilling a multitude of roles, yet remaining distinctively generally performant for what ever job the ship may be used, MIS succeeded in creating the Valkyrie "Reliable All-Rounder". Despite the Valkyrie's unique and unorthodox design, this atmosphere-space-hybrid may be pushed to transport up to 3 kilotons of cargo, or 3 times her dry weight. Equipped with a medium advanced shield module by default and suitably unoccupied hull spaces, the ship may be used as an armed blockade runner, intentionally refitted for combat roles or it may simply rely on its shield to escape any confrontation all-together. Naturally the Valkyrie also comes with warp module technology to quickly reach any desired destination of her captain. Additionally the MIS shipyards put a certain focus on interior design of the ship to maximize comfort for long journeys. The crew deck offers space for up to 3 additional crew members, a kitchen, a workstation computer, wardrobes, a medbay and naturally a shower and a bathroom. The captain may enjoy an additional personal bedroom with a viewport out to the stars, aswell as their own personal bathroom.
