It can be placed with the lower door at ground level, with half the core below the ground to allow for an underground factory. From my point of view, the entire core does not always have to be used. It is important to me that buildings fit in well with their surroundings, be it in the city or in the country. Put the ores on the input HUb on the control room at the entry of the factory and everything is being produced for you without any action to do.
