Mule: Is the first (xs) ship I built myself, which was basically an oblong box with engines and wings. I kept adding items to the structure until I could fit no more on due to space constraints. The ship does fly mostly like I intended it to but it can be easy to overloaded with cargo even when moving ore. This ship was essentially my test ship and allowed me to roughly gauge how many engines etc. you need to atmosphere and space flight for a particular weight of craft and cargo. I have not flown it other than to take the screen shots and I can confirm it is fast ship in atmosphere but other than that I am sure it would need some tweaks and a real stress test to add more stats than I have provided already, given some of the game changes that have happened in the months since I stopped using this ship. Needless to say this ship was used my myself for quite some time until I managed to acquire the parts to start a first version of my ship Elemental.

The Cysteria is a ( S ) core PvP brawler created by Firestorm. It was hand crafted before shields were introduced to the game and has room to add a shield. This ship was originally designed from the ground up for fleet vs fleet combat early in DU. If you need a ( S ) core that has survivability, built to weather the storm against larger core targets, and look good doing it... then look to the Cysteria. She is invaluable in the field, providing damage soak, DPS support for your fleet and a great ship for collectors. The are part of the heat shield and when they are destroyed, just leave them like that and it will help protect the ship from heat damage. The EMPRESS NIHILUS AES 03, not much improved, but I did move around all the elements in the back of the ship because they sometimes caused elements to collide when deploying the blueprint. New blueprints are now put in the dispenser. If you had the problem with collisions you can contact me and I will come to check the collisions in your EMPRESS NIHILUS. Those who can show me this, will receive a new blueprint.

The Stellarwing is an exercise in minimalism. Available in both cargo and warp versions. Its fitted with a few chairs if you care to take your alts or friends along with you. For those using it as an alt carrier, you can easily fit a res node inside the ship covering the upper hatch. She also has minimal cross-section, so even when using rare militaries, has good fuel consumption. We won't lie the warp version is far from the fastest, but by using only medium engines, it has exceptional fuel consumption. She warps from Alioth to Teoma on 14 warp cells fully fueled, which isn't bad for something a little more brash than a warp drive with wings and a few engines. She also has storage to store a warp drive in the cargo and will make it to space with decent skills and a patient pilot in this configuration (3's should do it). In cargo mode, she has 4 xs containers and 2 s. More than enough for whipping around to the market and small pick-ups. She'll easily carry 100t, with 200 not being out of the question with a patient pilot. She'll cruise at over 2000 with altitude without popping components. Blueprints are available for 1,000,000 quanta and we can make tokens available on request. But it will take us a short while to cook the engines up for you. It may also overshoot its braking point. The ship has been well balanced and has no nasty handling characteristics if you are flying manually, it is also capable of carrying weight. However, It is purely designed as a warp shuttle, it is not really made to carry anything more than you and full tanks. If you want to carry anything mroe significant than 10-20t or blueprints, the Rouen may be a better choice. (or the new WIP shuttle which will be released soon, which sits between the Rouen and the StellarWing).

Many times the design for a ship doesn't need to be complicated to be effective and efficient! The Broken Arrow utilizes a sleek traditional shape and clever positioning for elements resulting in an impressive performance for the ship size. 5 small containers provide an excellent hauling capacity (space to add 2 more for 7 total) - she'll carry more than double her own weight in cargo with power to spare and low cost parts mean this ship won't break the bank if you happen to ding into anything during your adventures. FAST- because the weight is low this ship will do around 50k depending on skills and cargo. LOW COST- Uses basic engines all around (1L Atmo, 4M Space) keep the maintenance and fuel extremely low. This was my 'day one' ship, and still preferred daily choice. MISSION RUNNER SPECIALIST: This setup makes a fantastic mission runner ship for the 'Aileron Parts 180k' run. (Round Trip in 9 Min) . With a few pilot skills this missile can climb straight to space at 90 deg from standstill... is very lightweight so will stop on the dime or pull out of dives very easily. Use the 'Boom and Zoom' technique to loop down onto the mission turn-in before bouncing back up into space. Also makes a hilariously fun kamikaze ship for obvious reasons as well. *Ship Inspiration: One of those movies you watch about a hundred times as a kid, Broken Arrow (1996).
