The same model ship that Luthen Rael prefers in Andor, the Fondor Haulcraft is a small-core hubrid hauler with warp drive. It has the equivalent of 1 1/2 Large containers of cargo space. It can lift around 450 to 600 tons off Alioth. Its meant to be a daily driver. Small enough to warp, large enough to carry a respectable load, and fast enough to get in and out quick. DERP is back! Here is my result and also my first experiences with the new voxel tool. The MPUV is a small courier that also has 4 XS containers on board. It is only built for the atmosphere but can also be used in space, but then you can't really take much with you. I built it because of the syle, not because of the use. The MPUV is the first DERP ship of the finished game. And many more will follow. It will be sold only as a blueprint.

The original Prospector ship served our early members well in hauling and market running, but offered little upgrade path. The new Prospector gives players multiple options in both ship upgrades and career paths, with space to exchange main storage to a L container and to upgrade your flight options with a warp drive. All stats are given with no placement and day 1 pilot talents - stats will only improve with talent training.

This baby turns heads wherever you go. This is my personal daily driver. If you are looking for a ship that can haul multi kilotons of cargo then this is NOT the ship for you. This is not a workhorse. This is a piece of art. This ship was based on a 3D model which can be seen in the pics. This ship was built to scale as the model had human models built in. I had to highly modify the back end and add nacels in order to facilitate as much thrust as I could due to the unfortunate size of DU's engine models. I have tested this with 1KT of cargo leaving both entering and leaving Alioth with Level 4 talents. It is doable but it is not fun. I would say that this ship's happy place is around 800 tons. The top "hood" took many hours to nail down moving point by point to get the slope and lines just right. I would have loved to add more detail however I was limited by chunk complexity in most areas. Elements of the ship are well arranged so that there is plenty of space inside, also inside there is a slot for a protective shield, which is easy to install or remove. All elements of the ship are hidden so that there is access for repairs. The hull consists of only 3 types of honeycomb. There are six M containers on the ship. Which provides a very compact appearance. The lifting power consists only of Vertical Boosters, which guarantees the lifting of very heavy cargo for safe transportation around the planet. With the piloting skills I can assure you that the ship can lift up to 1.5kt of cargo from a planet like Aliot
