The "Carl Sagan" class of organically shaped ships that provide cargo and VIP personnel logistics. The ship is versatile. It has a cockpit that can be customized, then there is the passenger area that contains in its current configuration seats for up to 12 VIPs, and then there is its cargo bay which can be configured to hold one or more of the following customer-provided elements: - containers - seats - additional engines - warp drive - scanner - radar This ship, in its original configuration, is a LIGHT-built - mostly lithium, some sodium, small amounts of plastic, but also precious woods. The ship has the ability of uncontrolled soft landing. When having reached sufficient height and minimum speed, the pilot could leave the cockpit and she will glide towards the ground and has a smooth touch-down, provided that there are no obstacles in her way (artificial structures, steep cliffs ). She uses XS landing gear to allow easy access. Strong lights provide good sight when landing in the dark. She's at home on hovers, in the air, and in space. The ship is sold as token, and the sales are limited to a total of 10 ships only to keep her rare. The price is 9 million, but if the buyer provides all materials and elements, the price will be reduced to 7.5 million - a discount of more than 10% and well above the worth of all used elements and materials. It's powerful enough to carry a modest load, but light enough that warp and fuel costs will also be modest. It can haul a maximum of 300-1000t out of 1g, depending on technician buffs, pilot talents, and engine selection. It has a max cargo volume of 144-216kL as standard. With a small internal tech bay it can house a few additional role-specific elements, such as a M shield, M rocket fuel tank and M rocket engine, or up to three extra M containers. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES: • When you spawn the Outrider from BP, to change the color of the blue hull plates, replace the 'Polished Light Blue Steel' and the 'Galvanized Light Blue Steel' materials. The WSS Merchant Prince Mk.4C A5S4 is a sleek, entry-level courier ship for anyone looking to get started and look good doing it. It sports a fully enclosed flight-deck with extensive electronics, with crew positions for the pilot, a weapons officer, and a mission officer. A six-seat passenger section is well appointed with excellent views, and is secured in flight by a crew-controlled passenger hatch and crew door. Electronics include atmospheric RADAR, 2 space RADARs, ECU, Telemeter, Screen + Programming Board, Emitter and Gyroscope. Additionally, navigation lights, search lights and beauty lights are positioned across the ship, and switch-controlled. The design has been extensively flight tested, and will do full barrel rolls on climb-out with 50T of cargo and six passengers, plus Split-S and full loops above 1500m AGL. As an executive passenger courier with 2.5 tons of cargo per passenger, it will "super cruise" in the top 5% of atmosphere at Mach 3 (3600km/h) for rapid arrival to any global destination. It can be spawned without things like windows and doors if you don't have them. Basic engines. Its been tested to take a DSAT from Haven with no problems. Anyone that buys this starter version can upgrade to the full version for 500k (1.5m full BP price) once I have them up and running. I upgraded this version for more thrust, lift and brakes to help in early game so those changes need to be retrofitted to the full version once i can print one.
