The Ugly Swan is a medium ship and probably the largest ship I will make in Dual Universe working by myself. This is based on how long it took me to source all the parts (purchased and manufactured). I am please with how it performs as it does function as I intended however, this ship is a great example, of trying to put too much on any one ship and left me with a very small number of choices for arranging the times to fit properly. The functions this ship fulfils are: Warp capable carrier, capable of carrying one small ship on the landing pad and two xs ships in the landing bays on the sides. Though the xs bays do not fit a full size xs ship. Territory scanner ship. Three territory scanners one on each corner. One DSAT for homing in on Asteroids. People transporter with a viewing area (Glass seating area) with a view of space / planet. 1G Atmospheric fight capable Space flight capable. Storage for resources though my really intention was to leave it in space while you shuttle back and forward in one of the docked ships. So the storage capacity is really meant to be on the docked ships. I designed it to carry the Elemental with a full load and carry the xs ships along with the filing its own cargo hold (four times the Elemental's capacity). I have not stress tested this ship, due to time constraints, but I can confirm it can carry the Elemental with cargo in and out of the atmosphere (At least 3.5Kt of cargo). Max speed is speed in space, the max atmospheric speed without burning up is 1000Km/h. The atmo thrust and space thrust values are forward thrust only (I do have thrust in other directions). Also it has four rocket engines because who does not like rocket engines.

"Bustard MKW 6" Built as a Courier ship. ATMO and Space Engines are Advanced Military. While heavier than the common Warp Shuttle, it has much greater lift capacity and maintains efficiency while allowing for a roomy control bridge. There is space and power to increase cargo capacity if desired but it was decided to stay with a 75% rule for ratings and handling. Can achieve 1500 in ATMO with skills and with out burning elements if traveling in a flat straight line. The Archego HUD has been set to a limit of 1175 to protect un-skilled pilots, this can be changed at your discretion. The Mongoose is an M core Rail boat. It has a warp drive to help get around the system, making it a great patrol boat. I've made the BP for the Mongoose very cheap (500k) to help encourage new people into PVP and for training. PVP in DU can be a lot of fun, dont worry about dying, just have fun. Mule: Is the first (xs) ship I built myself, which was basically an oblong box with engines and wings. I kept adding items to the structure until I could fit no more on due to space constraints. The ship does fly mostly like I intended it to but it can be easy to overloaded with cargo even when moving ore. This ship was essentially my test ship and allowed me to roughly gauge how many engines etc. you need to atmosphere and space flight for a particular weight of craft and cargo. I have not flown it other than to take the screen shots and I can confirm it is fast ship in atmosphere but other than that I am sure it would need some tweaks and a real stress test to add more stats than I have provided already, given some of the game changes that have happened in the months since I stopped using this ship. Needless to say this ship was used my myself for quite some time until I managed to acquire the parts to start a first version of my ship Elemental.

An elevator as elegant in design as it is in operation. This is a beautifully crafted elevator which can lift 5kt. It can be set up to follow a path perpendicular to the construct from which it was launched. This will allow elevators on the same, or adjacent, aligned cores to travel parallel paths to space, and arrive in the same relative locations in space as they hold on the ground. It does not use breadcrumbs, neither does it stop to correct deviation, as deviation is continually corrected while in flight. It maintains the same flight axis at all times, so does not become confused if it gets nearer to another celestial body than whence it started. Automatic docking is standard, with an extremely simple and reliable circuit. There are two setup modes, a simple one intended for first time deployment or testing, and a precise one, which uses a programming board, intended for parallel axes use, and after moving an elevator to a new location. The Wraith MK7 is an S core multi purpose ship designed to be a daily runner. It comes with 4 Rare Mil Atmo L Engines and 4 Advanced Man Space Ls. It also comes with 4 small rockets and tanks for the those or crap moments. It is designed to carry the small cat lifts by Horizon in the top hanger and does have a reciever built in to operate the top hanger doors for the lift to land inside. If you haven't got valuable cargo to transport, warping is often too expensive to justify. The Bantam is a personal craft for planetary travel, market runs and nanopack-sized purchases, transit between the surface to your space station, or an occasional joyride to a nearby moon. It takes off quickly and accelerates to max speed in seconds. The sleek, low-cross-section profile allows re-entry or cruising in high atmosphere at up to 2000 km/h without damage. Albatross HUD makes piloting a snap. The Basic Version can be built entirely in the nanocrafter, except for the optional square light and atmospheric radar. Both of those components can be obtained from starter outposts, if desired, as can many more such as engines and adjusters. The blueprint has level 5 placement for space, atmo, tanks. Honeycomb colors can be easily changed now, so go crazy! (purple and green not required) Because it weighs less than 10 tons, it can accelerate to 50,000 kph max speed. On a round trip it will use about half of the XS fuel tank with no talents. Plenty of reserve for emergency turn-and-burn braking if necessary! This little ship is a lot of fun to fly and can get you to any place in the solar system at a fraction the cost of UEF ships.
