The Dart is one of the few "real" Warp-Shuttles available since the release of Dual Universe. It is built for minimum weight while still maintaining a pleasant appearance. Since the weight of the warp drive was increased to 75t, most low-weight shuttles became obsolete. They simply do not produce enough lift anymore to haul the warp drive around. Because this unfortunately affected also our beloved "Needle", the Dart was born. Just 4 warp cells from Alioth to Madis, 15 to Teoma. This is not a racer, flight is docile and leaving Alioth is a bit challenging for a pilot without skills. The handling improves dramatically for a pilot with just lvl2+ talents on engines and wings. Stats are for unskilled pilots, cargo lift depends heavily on pilot skills. This version features all advanced military engines. For the most part, Episodes 7-9 were terrible, BUT the places where some us could still find refuge was in the ships, sets, sounds, and heck even I found a FEW moments outside the plot were enjoyable. One in particular was in the beginning of episode 7 where we see this shuttle arrive and Kylo descends the ramp in classic SW badass fashion. Like that ramp everything pretty much went downhill from there.... But despite that I found great potential in this chassis and here it is for your enjoyment - My own take on the Upsilon Shuttle with a fully-flushed interior. This configuration makes a great planet courier: balance between offense/defense, agility, speed, and hauling capacity. Though not as sleek or sophisticated as her Martian counterparts, the Truman-Class is famed for her sturdiness and reliability, serving as the immovable centre of a UNN Battlegroup through any manner of engagement. Using new and advanced heavy laser weapon systems, the standard Truman-Class may excel in most any situation within fleet engagements or solo missions across the system. Though her acceleration under full load of fuel and ammunition may not reach similar performances as other gunships might boast, the fact that her 6 XL engines are uncommon maneuver models mean she will be able to accelerate and re-align her vector fast enough to still be able to get into range of most any opponent. Ship stats: (stats changed from beta to launch!) - 6 advanced heavy laser L, combined to 1 L gunner seat with an optimal range of 0.86su - can be controlled by a single gunner who may also pilot the ship via remote control.
