A single detection zone activates the mining script and lighting so no more running around in the dark with a pen and paper. The centralized VR station provides instant access to all mining units on the platform without the need to move from the spot. When deploying the platform, make sure the stairs and the voxel square at the bottom of the platform are above the surface of the terrain. This will ensure you have access to the containers if you choose to swap them out. The raised platform and circular arrangement of the mining units allow the bonus ore to spawn in a ring around the construct allowing for ease of access when collecting. The bottom of the tower can be sunken into the land as far as needed and has ladders for access from the ground. Add a surrogate pad and you can easily VR there to calibrate your off-world tiles. The landing pad on top fits S core ships easily and provides EZ access to all 8 miners and the Hub. Landing activates the screen which shows how much ore is currently available. LUA included. Basic Mining Towers have space for your Org name on the side to let people know who's mining in style!

So, no more calibration tiles means time to own some proper mining rigs. This should make it easier... Easy install, low cost honeycomb with a custom lua script displaying all the information you could need or want. The LUA script is also available standalone! Construct: As most mining rigs only require four units, the blueprint contains four Large and two Small allowing you to disable the Small units if required. You can also choose to replace these with large units if so required. Please note, if you do use four and remove the two S cores, edit lua parameters and enter in "25" (without quotes) to the "Gaps" field.
