The DBI (Dumboiz United) Weird Science Mk2 is an M-Core ship designed around the DSAT and your crew's ore-hunting needs, whether you're a crew of one or many! Whether you're flying solo or in a group, using the DSAT is a breeze due to its convenient front-and-center placement. You don't even need to leave the pilot seat, making copying coordinates right in to your Auto Pilot LUA a breeze. 2 large containers provide plenty of storage capacity for multiple asteroid trips, so while the rest of the Roid Raiders are filling up their meager ships, you and your team can stay behind and have the asteroid all to yourselves. Fly at a max of 30k kmph and don't worry about braking until you're 1.9su away, meaning you can fly faster for longer. And don't worry about getting up to speed, because with an XL and 2 Large space engines, you're going to be hitting that max lickity-split! The interior offers ample room for activities and boasts a well manicured, clean, open floor plan with easily accessible elements hidden from view. Phantom is my first M core art build. It's built out of carbon fiber to keep the weight down, but also to give it this cool chromish look. I haven't even made a proper video on it, but here's my first version of it and first test flight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9YNFEVcSoM (on this video it's not complete, it's missing warp and some wings). INTERIOR: cool looking interior, with bridge/cockpit, 2x crew quarters and cargo area. cockpit has switches and lights that will let you turn stuff on/off and lights will indicate what's on/off. fuel tanks are also nicely places behind hatches, which are opened by a switch and lights turn on, in other words, i put some time into designing the interior. one crew quarter is pretty much empty, so you can make your own design in there. FORWARD ENGINES: 12x L basic atmospheric engines and 4x L basic space engines NOTE - cargo capacity and lift are not absolute and are easily modifyable! I made it as art-build, but it performs quite well as hauler. currently it only had 4x L containers, but you can easily easily put more containers. I think you can quite easily fit +6 to 8 L containers into it, so total of 10-12 i'd say. there's also some room for more wings if needed, only problem with heavy loads might be hovers. I have tested about 2000t and it had absolutely no problem lifting it with low level talents (level 2-3). if you have "heavy foot", you might want to put L space fuel tank on it, because i have M only and it runs out quite fast if you're hammering it. with full tank, it's enough to make a round trip from plant to planet, so in other words, it can escape atmosphere twice, but with cargo it might be an issue, so have some extra fuel or get L space fuel tank. You have to land anyway, so i see no harm in refuelling in meanwhile. I'm not very happy with some voxel work outside as there's a bug where voxels look fine in build mode, but when i exit build mode, they twist into something else. it's hard to fix those as in build mode it looks fine, so i don't know what to adjust, but otherwise it's fine.

The culmination of my "practice" throughout beta. The Hagboard Pro Sometimes even a "classic" ship needs some more love... Since Alpha i am giving away Hagboard BP's for free or BP creation costs, now finally i make the Hagboard Pro available. It has my personal HUD with all the features i use myself daily when flying around. - Full Auto-level - Altitude Hold - Underwater mode -Home waypoint via hotkey. ( position can be entered in LUA Parameters) I tried keeping my HUD close to default flying config, so if you can fly with default, just hop on and start enjoying. but if you want those extra features, they are just one key combo away. Most needed keys are being explained in the HUD, and there is an inbuilt help screen available via Shift+Alt+1. This brings the Hagboard to the next level. With it's rare military engines it has that extra "punch" when you want it and with it's redone voxelwork is has a slick fast look to it. The underwater mode that automatically activate when getting on underwater ( or using alt+6 ) allows to fly underwater as if you would be in atmosphere. Perfect for that scanning trip on Jago ;-) Even if it has Auto-level on by default, just hold left shift key to disable auto-level whilst holding that key to do those aerobatic tricks when you need it. Need a fast and cheap Space Shuttle? Fly to Asteroids in the PvP Zone with the Rascal and ninja some Ore! Its has a max Speed of 48500kmh to outrun any usual PvP Meta Ship chasing you and a very small cross section of only 25,6m³ makes you even very hard to hit while accelerating! A Rare Capacity Shield Generator S will buy you some time to accelerate as well. This Ship is ideal for starting from a Mothership at the PvP Zone Border. I would suggest the ideal load for this Ship would be 140t, wich would be for example around 40kL of Chromite. Dont fly alone, there are 2 additional seats where your friends can take place. If things go bad and you still get shot, its not a big deal because of the cheap building costs.
