A quick elevator up will take you directly to the the flight deck, onwards to the next stop. If you are really in a hurry, all containers and Mining Units are also in reach from one area on the flight deck. The long and stable legs will make placing these cores a breeze, even on hilly ground. Instructions: Place M-core with the middle edge of the mining platform in the exact middle of three tiles. MC Industries presents the Basic Platform S, a multi-purpose S core platform that is designed for low cost and maximal utility while presenting a heavy-duty industrial aesthetic reminiscent of offshore drilling platforms. The tall pillars upon which the platform rests allows for the most flexibility for placement on uneven terrain with minimal terraforming, that a small core would allow. Only tier1 materials are used, so it could be deployed quite soon after launch. It can easily be used as a remote mining platform. Six openings in the floor allow mining beams to penetrate and the raised platform allows plenty of room for ore to spawn beneath the mining units for easy collection. The interior features a display stand with space for two large transparent screens and shelves for placing container hubs, programming boards, detection zones and all the other elements needed to support mining and factory LUA applications. There is enough space for 10 Container L inside, plus the mining units and even a few industry units for ore or fuel refining. The roof of the structure can be used as a landing pad for small craft with a ladder providing access. If you don't want the mining unit holes in the floor, a simple copy-paste operation can be done to replace them with a floor segment that is solid. Though the photos show some elements placed, the blueprint is supplied without any elements. Just voxels. You can grow and expand the amenities like LUA and larger containers as Noveans manufacturing capabilities expand after launch. As the Rock Raiders continued their expanse they started finding, stealing, and then revamping UEF designs. One of their hauls was a sub orbital platform. Given their ingenuity they were able to drop off a haul of T1 ore and have it automatically processed into Nitron and Kergon X5 at the same time. The only maintenance to this system is the occasional purge of oxygen and hydrogen once in a while while there to fuel up Rock Raider ships.
