"USS Langley, (CV-1/AV-3)" - The first US Navy Aircraft Carrier 1920-1942 While this is not a replica of that famous ship, it carries that famous name. The ship has been created as a no-nonsense purpose-built work ship. There are no Deco elements (there is room to add them if you desire), there are no fancy board rooms or lighting elements and plants and frilly things. The total element count is 633. The Langley has a large flat carrier deck that is greater than the size of an M core ship, as such it can accommodate the largest M core ships in the game while they have a full load, and that is what it was built for. While this is not a "Hauler" there are 34 Advanced Optimised L Containers below deck, 4 of them for Warp Cell and miscellaneous storage. There is a massive area "On Deck" to place cargo packs or containers and your favorite ships up to a fully loaded M core. The ship has been tested with 16kt of cargo off and on to a 1G planet it is being rated at 16kt, more than that is the Pilots responsibility. There are 30x Advanced Military atmospheric engines to push this to space, and 4x Advanced Military space engines to get it to max space speed. Space Thrusters are included to make navigation at a space station easy. There is space to add 8 more ATMO Engines if you do not use an AGG. Please take some time to compare the STATS to other ships. Every effort has been made to make the ship efficient and easy to manage. ALL elements on the ship that can be boosted, are boosted to level 5 non-PvP boosts. Select a few roids and mark down their Planet area and location. In the Safe Zone look for Uncommon asteroids and in the PVP zone look for asteroids that are over 200 SU away. In the safe zone you want roids that have not been broadcast very long so 1-3 days old, but in the PVP zone you want roids that are 3-9 days old. The reason for this is that more recent roids in the PVP zone have more action. Ideally you'll find a roid 3-9 days old that hasn't been touched and will be safe to mine without worry of Legion. The truth is, there are just too many roids for Legion to patrol and the further away from Alioth you are the harder it is for them to patrol. You may want to avoid Teoma as they have bases there and may patrol that region more often. Avoid any roids just over the PVP zone as this is where everyone gets killed. Legion targets it because its where alot of people go. Follow this advise and I'm sure you'll find success. You should make upwards of 5m/hr, so paying off the cost of the ship is easy resulting in a very good risk reward for PVP roiding. If you want to hunt and discover Roids, put a DSAT in the inventory and stick it on when needed. I'll offer a guarantee that if you have not paid off the cost of the ship with Roid earnings and you get killed following these instructions I will give you a free Blueprint and send you funds for new ship costs. The Osiris is a mighty and cool looking ship, handles up to 5kt of cargo easily, both in and out of atmo at lvl 4 pilot skills, it even has some extra space inside for some optional upgrades. Dagda has been a name I have assigned to my workhorse class of ships. This ship, for its size, is lightweight with the primary shell consisting of Carbon Fiber, with a small amount of Aluminium and Glass Light Voxels. The canopy windshield affords spectacular views of space as you travel and the command compartment is roomy and uncluttered with moderate lighting. The ship is equipped with an Advanced Medium Shield Generator, and has four large cargo containers and one small cargo container attached to a HUB. The HUB is centrally placed in the engineering section to offer a balanced load to the vessel, while the smaller of the five containers is accessible from the command area for access to cargo. There is sufficient space in the aft engineering section of the ship to add an AGG complete with pulsor units as well as a warp drive or extra cargo containers for additional storage volume. The top deck sports enough space to land 2-3 smaller vessels to act as a carrier and even has a secured elevator preventing undesired access to the ship. Seating is arranged for 5 persons, and the ship has a Rez Node, 2 VR Booths for personnel that would like to do missions or visit others during the long space voyage to other planets. There is also an inbound VR Pod so that you can allow your friends to come along without them feeling like they can't leave the ship without having to hitch a ride back. ;-)~ All doors and hatches are controlled through multiple buttons which are always accessible from the main command chair, and there are several screens and programming boards that you can program with your favorite ships tools or applications.
