Dual Universe Creators

Getting my first creation out there. Tried to get close to the design from Serenity's Mule. Still trying to figure the nuances to ship building. Any and all pointers are most welcomed.

The Bp is built with basic and cheap in mind room to expand as u make more money or more items yourself. The Container capacity is with just 1 M container on Bp able to hold 4 so cargo easily expandable. The stats bellow are looked at with a 0 talent pilot with a lvl 4 Atmo pilot 0 Space i was able to lift 1kt cargo to space by bouncing it a few times to build the speed. Now on version 3 that includes all the VPT work that wasn't around when I first made it. The Spindler was my second ship that I made and my first to see space. Many moons later I've completely redesigned it with better, prettier voxel work, upgraded engines and really better stats all the way around. While my first space faring ship worked, this one will help you make that transition to space so much easier and with much better style than I had. BP dispenser located on Haven at - ::pos{0,27,6.9482,-70.8985,249.7016} The Vector Voyager is a sleek and capable multirole hauler. A colossal amount of work went into making it - about 600 hours - most of it spent on voxels (back when we didn't have the vertex precision tool and we had to modify voxels through arcane methods called 'Voxelmancy'). It has a detailed and pleasant interior and a carefully sculpted outer hull. The Vector also has excellent engineering. It's narrow; less that 400m² forward cross section, allowing it to reach speeds greater than 1600kmh in atmo (if you don't mind a few things exploding). It can haul a substantial amount of cargo; designer testing has achieved 1g escape with 5kt of cargo in the standard basic engines model (with maxed buffs and piloting talents). With higher tier military engines, it can lift up to 8kt for a skilled pilot. Volume capacity is 2.3ML(12 L containers), with external attach points for six additional L containers, allowing expansion up to 3.45ML with only a minor increase in forward cross section. The ship also has a strong and balanced adjustor profile, a small hangar for speeders, and a spacious tech bay to add role-specific elements such as a DSAT, large shield, or AGG. I tried to make the best M-core I possibly could, and I'm proud of the Vector. As he clawed his way into the launch of Dual Universe, Resource was heard screaming, "NO SHOEBOXES". Surely a ship could be built that could satisfy the detailed mind of a this ship builder with performance we all want, NO EXPECT without looking like a shoebox. And so as he toiled away in the darkness of Thades shadow at the Crash Industries skunkworks, the Cambria took shape. A T shape to be exact. But how would Resource achieve the high altitude lift he wanted, no required AND avoid a wall of engines? These are the challenges that drive some mad as they rebreathe the same stale air inside their helmets. The space anguish spiraled out of control as the ship went from 2, no 4, no 4.5 containers! Just when some would break down in a pile of mangled voxels, Resource looked up and saw his masterpiece. His first thought? I wonder if I can cram a medium shield in there? ... the answer was yes. The Cambria by WarpForged is a small core (small footprint) hauler that safely lifts two XL mission packages (2.8+ kt in 4L & 1M containers) from Alioth's surface with level 4 pilot talents. This hauler is made for everyone who needs to get stuff done. It's a good looking ship without a bunch of extra elements you're going to have to repair if the inevitable happens. We are proud to (re)introduce the BIGFOOT S-Core Heavy Cargo. This is a sleek and very capable hauler and was designed with easy flying and lots of cargo in mind. BIGFOOT will carry up several kilotons off 1G planets within its 8 containers L, all with a smile and look good doing it. With a fully detailed interior you can relax after a hard days mining. For solo players or small groups this is an ideal hauler. For optimization purpose, elements have been selected based on maxed talents. This means ship will get better as your piloting talents go up, and reach full potential at higher levels. Your piloting talents will determine max cargo capacity. Hard limit tested with T2 engines for 1g is around 5kt net cargo (and much more on lower g environments), but be warned this has been achieved only with close to every possible maxed talent. So depending on your pilot talents and handling talents applied on ship, the following should be much easier and safer: T1 engines: 1-2kt T2 engines: 3-4kt All elements are visible and can be accessed from outside or engineering room for repair and/or linking (no obstructed atmo brakes!). The DBI LASH-1 (Light Atmospheric Scanning Hauler) is an efficient scanning vessel for those players looking to get in to scanning. This Small Core ship comes equipped with a single Basic Container Large and enough power to move it when fully loaded. As an atmospheric ship, the LASH utilizes a very open and minimalistic design aesthetic, reminiscent of construction vehicles once used on Earth. Scan tiles, harvest surface ore to pass the time, and move along to the next scan site. Even if you don't find that T3 ore site, you won't be coming back empty handed!
