After 5 other major iterations since beta, the starjumper is my entry into the S core hauler market and is being sold as a blueprint with DRM removed. The starjumper was designed to haul 500t, and has room for one L container in the cargo bay. In testing, I was able to lift 900t to orbit (with rare vertical boosters). Upgrading the elements, it can easily push more than 500t of cargo. Blueprint comes with Advanced Military Atmo and Military Space engines (2 L each). This recreation of the Astral Express, a spaceship from the game Honkai: Star Rail, is the flagship product of Ad Astra Shipyards. This design features a faithful reconstruction of the interior of the train-themed spaceship, with minor creative liberties taken in the design of the exterior hull to account for the ship’s TARDIS-esque interior dimensions. The ship is a work of art, and as such is unarmed; but per Ad Astra’s standards, it is fully capable of both atmospheric and space flight via 40 M Wings, 18 L atmospheric engines, and 12 L space engines. The ship itself is composed of a L-Core containing the locomotive and coachcar, as well as all flight systems; the rear car is a carefully-docked M-core. Contact us via the info in our bio for assistance in docking the two cores correctly, as the construction of the ship requires the two constructs to overlap slightly. The blueprints for the individual cores can also be purchased separately if you don’t want to deal with that hassle. VR access is available to explore the complete ship! We are proud to (re)introduce the BIGFOOT S-Core Heavy Cargo. This is a sleek and very capable hauler and was designed with easy flying and lots of cargo in mind. BIGFOOT will carry up several kilotons off 1G planets within its 8 containers L, all with a smile and look good doing it. With a fully detailed interior you can relax after a hard days mining. For solo players or small groups this is an ideal hauler. For optimization purpose, elements have been selected based on maxed talents. This means ship will get better as your piloting talents go up, and reach full potential at higher levels. Your piloting talents will determine max cargo capacity. Hard limit tested with T2 engines for 1g is around 5kt net cargo (and much more on lower g environments), but be warned this has been achieved only with close to every possible maxed talent. So depending on your pilot talents and handling talents applied on ship, the following should be much easier and safer: T1 engines: 1-2kt T2 engines: 3-4kt All elements are visible and can be accessed from outside or engineering room for repair and/or linking (no obstructed atmo brakes!). Switch during operation by pressing "Alt+1" - engine limited to marina use (when sails are down). thrust Limit applies(max 10%) - extensively tested on the seas of Alioth (other planets might require adjustments, contact me for assistance) - Wind (&Rudder) Indicator (visible for the helmsman) - configurable sail texts & colors (see LUA parameters) - HoverEngine Technology allows almost infinite fuel autonomy - the Levante is compactable, so take it on your next vacation by the sea ;-) Blueprint Instructions: - there is one manual step required after setting the BP. go to build mode and right click the backward facing hover engine. under Advanced=>"disable thrust along gravity" has to be selected for the backward facing hover engine - if you want to have the original light colors, set back left to "255,0,0" and back right to "0,255,0" front light: enable blinking and set on duration to 0.1 This could be used for Regattas as well, as the speed is defined by the skills of the skipper and his/her ability to find the best course for maximum performance Some "sailing tips": - the speed you can reach depends on your angle towards the wind. the faster you go the more "heel" you will get and the more active correction of your course will be required to stay on a straight line. - It is not possible to sail directly into the wind. To sail against the wind direction you have to "cross". - to moor at your pier the auxiliary engine can be used, but only when the sail is down. It is limited to 10% of max thrust. - if you do not have a proper pier yet, you can hover up a bit using the space bar to get the boat on your plattform... (better build yourself a small marina & pier) - the ECU should always be activated/armed. when you leave the helm, this will keep the boat from sinking to the ground. After jumping on your pier, quickly touch the boat to moore it to the pier. - if you find that the boat is unable to stay on the water surface, this is usually some physic bug in the client. just get out of the seat and try again (maybe after maneuvering the boat a bit) BP's will be made available again soon(TM)
