The Levante by Hagbard "A person without dreams is like a boat without sails..." The Levante is a sailboat that allows you to experience the wind, the waves, the ride and heeling of a sailboat in DU. Big portions of the voxelwork for the hull was done by Singularity org. **IMPORTANT: read the BP placing instructions below!** BP Dispensers are at Marina Hagbard: ::pos{0,2,38.3028,62.7694,34.7477} I am offering this BP a lot cheaper then usually as i want to see the seas of our planet full with boats, so that you're all able to enjoy this new kind of construct. Features: - accurate simulation of wind, waves and the sea - sails settable by "G" key in 4 levels Shift+G reduces Sail surface by 1/4 - 2 steering options either you can steer with a non centering rudder or with A/D controls similar to how other constructs are being steered. Switch during operation by pressing "Alt+1" - engine limited to marina use (when sails are down). thrust Limit applies(max 10%) - extensively tested on the seas of Alioth (other planets might require adjustments, contact me for assistance) - Wind (&Rudder) Indicator (visible for the helmsman) - configurable sail texts & colors (see LUA parameters) - HoverEngine Technology allows almost infinite fuel autonomy - the Levante is compactable, so take it on your next vacation by the sea ;-) Blueprint Instructions: - there is one manual step required after setting the BP. go to build mode and right click the backward facing hover engine. under Advanced=>"disable thrust along gravity" has to be selected for the backward facing hover engine - if you want to have the original light colors, set back left to "255,0,0" and back right to "0,255,0" front light: enable blinking and set on duration to 0.1 This could be used for Regattas as well, as the speed is defined by the skills of the skipper and his/her ability to find the best course for maximum performance Some "sailing tips": - the speed you can reach depends on your angle towards the wind. the faster you go the more "heel" you will get and the more active correction of your course will be required to stay on a straight line. - It is not possible to sail directly into the wind. To sail against the wind direction you have to "cross". - to moor at your pier the auxiliary engine can be used, but only when the sail is down. It is limited to 10% of max thrust. - if you do not have a proper pier yet, you can hover up a bit using the space bar to get the boat on your plattform... (better build yourself a small marina & pier) - the ECU should always be activated/armed. when you leave the helm, this will keep the boat from sinking to the ground. After jumping on your pier, quickly touch the boat to moore it to the pier. - if you find that the boat is unable to stay on the water surface, this is usually some physic bug in the client. just get out of the seat and try again (maybe after maneuvering the boat a bit) BP's will be made available again soon(TM)

The Arion is a delicate balance between looks, speed and usability. As a compactable pocket scout ship it is capable of making planetary scouting trips easy and fun, while also giving you the ability to use it with a bigger carrier, or maybe even floating platform, it has 3 m sized rare military engines that make it fast during both normal flight and vtol takeoff. The P2 Scout has been scrambled into production to meet the alien threat encroaching upon our skies! Armed with 7 magazines worth of cannon ammunition, this long range scout skirmisher has the endurance to keep battling it out mission after mission without needing to return to a carrier or base. Lightweight construction ensures performance, yet its armored top plate uses high grade 5 titanium allowing it to tank hits should it become necessary to vent the shield! Unlike many space-only competitors, the P2 may operate from ground bases, removing the need for time consuming ship transfers! It is capable of launching to orbit from the ground on its rocket afterburner, as well as gliding back to a safe landing like the space shuttles of ancient history. Initial UEF combat reports show the P2 has proven itself capable of dominating in encounters with alien advance scouting parties, with over 90% of sorties reporting swift victory and only moderate damage to shields which did not require the use of a single vent cycle!

Borg Cube style Cube, yes! this beast is S-core build, but easily out-performs most M-core and even some L-core builds. It has 2x XL space engines and 12x L atmo engines, with bunch of wings. I did 7.5kt (7500 tons) with this beast and it held together just fine, low alt lift was barely enough, but i managed to get it to 3500m and hold it there just fine, landing can be rough if you dont have enough space, but land it like a plane! just be careful with arch, DO NOT press "G" to land, lower the altitude yourself, because arch does not consider your ship's weight, it will SLAM you into ground. best part is adjustors, it has perfect adjustor placement, because well .. it's a CUBE! it turns better than any other ship (not a joke) and center of mass is almost in center, maybe off by 2%. Container hub is also right in the center, so if you fill it with cargo, then center of mass will be exactly in center. comes with 10x L containers, but there's enough room inside for more stuff. it has basic interior to keep the weight down, but also so its easy to repair the elements in case you damage them. So in atmo it does 7.5kt (including ship's weight), but you can put more hovers on it or replace hovers for vboosters and put more wings on it and i think it will handle 9-10kt in atmo, however i doubt it lifts more than 5kt into space, might get 6kt if you know how to fly, but you might end up taking some heat damage. you can further modify it by adding downwards space engines and it should easily get 6kt into space. This truly is the most powerful S-core ship i have built or seen and it has room for improvements, i just don't like to build ships with too many elements as they start lagging real bad :(
