This baby turns heads wherever you go. This is my personal daily driver. If you are looking for a ship that can haul multi kilotons of cargo then this is NOT the ship for you. This is not a workhorse. This is a piece of art. This ship was based on a 3D model which can be seen in the pics. This ship was built to scale as the model had human models built in. I had to highly modify the back end and add nacels in order to facilitate as much thrust as I could due to the unfortunate size of DU's engine models. I have tested this with 1KT of cargo leaving both entering and leaving Alioth with Level 4 talents. It is doable but it is not fun. I would say that this ship's happy place is around 800 tons. The top "hood" took many hours to nail down moving point by point to get the slope and lines just right. I would have loved to add more detail however I was limited by chunk complexity in most areas. This XS core, ultra light orbiter was sculpted entirely using the VPT for maximum style. Designed with fuel economy and basic parts in mind, I set out to make a sleek, easy to acquire ship that everyone can enjoy post wipe. The Luminaris has 1 Medium and 2 Small Atmospheric engines with 4 Small Space engines and has a top speed of 49,000km/h+ in space. Feel the thrill as you drift around celestial bodies and stop on a dime when you reach the end of your intrepid journey. The ship wasn’t built for hauling although 6 Basic XS Containers on a hub are provided for light shopping and carrying around your data items, spare fuel and scrap. I hope you have as much fun flying the Luminaris as I had building the ship. Achieving the tiny form factor without compromising on the elements needed to retain its performance was, in some ways, more of a challenge than on the M core Stiletto I built. The Luminaris comes with Arch HUD by default (made by Archaegeo). The "Boar VarHC Mk I" is a hybrid S Core Hauler for interplanetary flights. This version does not have any Vertical Booster. The Interior is kept simple, the containers and fuel tanks are all accessible at one place. It can lift ~500t off of Alioth, for unskilled pilots and with Basic Elements. With high skills and Elements it can lift off more than 1.8 kt. The ship contains: 2x Basic Container L 3x Basic Atmospheric Engines L 2x Space Engines L Atmo and Space Radar Surrogation Pod Resurrection Node You can look at the ship in the Surrogate VR "LUF Showroom".

A nice looking decently balanced warp shuttle weighing around 770t with full fuel load; cargo capacity is relatively average. Comes equipped with a bench over the warp drive for passengers as well as VR and res facilities.

This version uses all basic engines which are not closely packed in for easy upgrades in the future.
