The Thunderstrike is a VERY affordable, space-only, single-pilot/gunner fighter meant to get you out there into PvP events and start enjoying the PvP experience in a very fast, agile ship that does not skimp on advanced weapons and radar. Piloting is done through the remote control while seated in the gunner seat. (You can still split the pilot/gunner role to 2 players if desired.) Overview: The Badger is a multi role dropship, well suited to mining and light haulage. It packs a lot of ability in its relatively small frame. Cargo Lift: The lift generated from the wings is good enough for around 2kt depending on talents and pilot skill. Depending on the engines you chose cargo lift ranges from 1KT up to the maximum of the wings. Containers: There are 2 M and 2 S containers pre-loaded. There is room for a L container in the main hold, placed across the ship behind the hub. The Hub centralises the ships mass and also provides a good indicator of where to place the container. This gives just over 400kL of cargo at max boost. Engines: There are 4 advanced maneuverer engines as standard but these can be easily replaced for more power and cargo handling. The ship can run in a 2, 3 or 4 engine configuration depending what your uses are for the ship and how much weight matters to you. Engine positions for changing out the atmo engines. top left. x -9.0 y -51.0 z 2.5. top right x 9.0, y -51.0 z. 2.5. then the bottom ones directly below Brakes: The M airbrakes in the front grill can be increased in number by re-laying them without any spaces. This will increase braking power but I preferred the grill type look. Fuel: There are 2 atmo M fuel tanks and 4 space M fuel tanks, one tank for each space engine. Cockpit: All lights (Forward, rear and beacon) can be controlled from the cockpit. There is a res node and surrogate station onboard. "Valdez V2" Built as a Serious hauling Vessel. The ship has been created as a no-nonsense purpose-built work ship. There are no Deco elements, there are no fancy board rooms or lighting elements and plants and frilly things. Very easy to deploy with alternate color choices. The total element count is 512 as delivered. The Valdez uses 18 Advanced Optimized L containers for Cargo and 2 Advanced Optimized M containers for Scrap & Warp Cells. There are 24 Advanced Military Atmospheric Engines & 4 Advanced Safe Space Engines. It has been tested leaving Sanctuary with 10kt of Cargo (12.6 kt total ship mass). It will surely lift more from a 1g planet but 10kt it what it is being rated at. This is not a build for the Novice player, due to the expense of the elements, however it will fly well in the hands of any pilot. - AGG and Warp drive are built in. - ALL elements on the ship that can be boosted, are boosted to level 5 NON PvP skills. - All listed attributes were taken while in VR so they reflect zero pilot skills, and the ship was dry and empty. All my designs will be available at The Third Verse server Introducing the Luminaris and Luminaris Pro upgraded version: The personal transport of the future. This XS core, ultra light orbiter was sculpted entirely using the VPT for maximum style. Designed with fuel economy and basic parts in mind, I set out to make a sleek, easy to acquire ship that everyone can enjoy post wipe. The Luminaris has 1 Medium and 2 Small Atmospheric engines with 4 Small Space engines and has a top speed of 49,000km/h+ in space. Feel the thrill as you drift around celestial bodies and stop on a dime when you reach the end of your intrepid journey. The ship wasn’t built for hauling although 6 Basic XS Containers on a hub are provided for light shopping and carrying around your data items, spare fuel and scrap. I hope you have as much fun flying the Luminaris as I had building the ship. Achieving the tiny form factor without compromising on the elements needed to retain its performance was, in some ways, more of a challenge than on the M core Stiletto I built. The Luminaris comes with Arch HUD by default (made by Archaegeo). On top of that I have chosen to use the Container Monitor open source LUA by Krengus of ASTCO as this is a helpful script for checking weight, fuel and inventory at a glance.
