The Levante by Hagbard "A person without dreams is like a boat without sails..." The Levante is a sailboat that allows you to experience the wind, the waves, the ride and heeling of a sailboat in DU. Big portions of the voxelwork for the hull was done by Singularity org. **IMPORTANT: read the BP placing instructions below!** BP Dispensers are at Marina Hagbard: ::pos{0,2,38.3028,62.7694,34.7477} I am offering this BP a lot cheaper then usually as i want to see the seas of our planet full with boats, so that you're all able to enjoy this new kind of construct. Features: - accurate simulation of wind, waves and the sea - sails settable by "G" key in 4 levels Shift+G reduces Sail surface by 1/4 - 2 steering options either you can steer with a non centering rudder or with A/D controls similar to how other constructs are being steered. Switch during operation by pressing "Alt+1" - engine limited to marina use (when sails are down). thrust Limit applies(max 10%) - extensively tested on the seas of Alioth (other planets might require adjustments, contact me for assistance) - Wind (&Rudder) Indicator (visible for the helmsman) - configurable sail texts & colors (see LUA parameters) - HoverEngine Technology allows almost infinite fuel autonomy - the Levante is compactable, so take it on your next vacation by the sea ;-) Blueprint Instructions: - there is one manual step required after setting the BP. go to build mode and right click the backward facing hover engine. under Advanced=>"disable thrust along gravity" has to be selected for the backward facing hover engine - if you want to have the original light colors, set back left to "255,0,0" and back right to "0,255,0" front light: enable blinking and set on duration to 0.1 This could be used for Regattas as well, as the speed is defined by the skills of the skipper and his/her ability to find the best course for maximum performance Some "sailing tips": - the speed you can reach depends on your angle towards the wind. the faster you go the more "heel" you will get and the more active correction of your course will be required to stay on a straight line. - It is not possible to sail directly into the wind. To sail against the wind direction you have to "cross". - to moor at your pier the auxiliary engine can be used, but only when the sail is down. It is limited to 10% of max thrust. - if you do not have a proper pier yet, you can hover up a bit using the space bar to get the boat on your plattform... (better build yourself a small marina & pier) - the ECU should always be activated/armed. when you leave the helm, this will keep the boat from sinking to the ground. After jumping on your pier, quickly touch the boat to moore it to the pier. - if you find that the boat is unable to stay on the water surface, this is usually some physic bug in the client. just get out of the seat and try again (maybe after maneuvering the boat a bit) BP's will be made available again soon(TM)

After many months of working on it, I'm proud to present the STAR SHAPER MK 1.0. Before starting the description of the ship, all the statistics given on the page are done with the cargo capacity fulfilled @80% to not over states the presentation and to give a proper vision of the ship with cargo on it. And those stats are provided with LVL 5 talents for ship. SO once builded you need to upgrade the talents on it to 5. This ship is dedicated to mission / asteroid mining as it integrate a DSAT inside giving you the opportunity to fly from an asteroid to another one with a 4 L Containers capacity as main hub + 2 S Containers as secondary Hub for warp cells. The Star Shaper is perfectly balanced to provide the best flying experience to their users. Their is obviously an interior design with multiple rooms dedicated to game aspect apart a meeting room which is their for the roleplay. The Star Shaper is equipped with an anti gravity engine and a dock on the below part of the ship that can give access to a small pocket ship. With this setup you can stop on altitude where you want to go and just take your pocket ship to go down on surface staying in distance from your linked containers, which gives you the opportunity to go to market doing business without landing. The DSAT is accessible / can be monitored from the cockpit and is perfectly integrated into the ship to provide the best design / look & feel. The anti gravity engine is also monitored via the cockpit with a screen & a script that allow to setup the anti gravity altitude / set status of the AntiGrav (Active / Offline) The ship is equipped with the standard scripts: - Ship info - Archeo orbital HUD - Warp map - Anti gravity monitoring The Star Shaper as been tested multiple times / adjusted to reach the perfect balanced announced further. It can go to space from Allioth with 4KT cargo weight without any problems which is approx the max capacity of the cargo space with a mix of different T1 Ores. I didn't test it with full Emathite but due to the buffer of power the ship goes it will works without any problems. When scouting a territory, you just throw one of the probes out the loading dock of your ship and keep going to the next one. It´s equiped with a container and a surrogate pod. That alllows you to check out hexes that you are waiting for to be up for grabs! Just name the pod, and have a TU in the container and then just wait!

While superficially from a distance it still closely resembles the classic shape of the older designs, the retro World War II battleship-inspired characteristics of Leiji Matsumoto have been abandoned almost altogether for something quite dominating and alien. It is far larger at double the size and mass, and much more ridiculously defined and grossly detailed, to the point that the skull-and-crossbones feature a lower jaw, hollow eye sockets, and a spinal vertebrae-like structure extending from it across the middle of the forecastle. Ominous red lighting emits from the underside layers and various holes and vents of the ship, including the eye sockets. Instead of three turrets, there are three rings encircling the hull of the vessel mounted with four cannon turrets each, capable of moving along the circumference to cover up any blind spots. There are three "masts", the last of which a Jolly Roger flag is usually flown from. In the place of wings, there are four bony harpoon-like protrusions that point forwards, with the top two being longer and skinnier than the bottom two. More protrusions jut out towards the stern of the ship, with two culminating in hook shapes, and one resembling a short bony tail. The middle of the ship is seemingly built around a large spherical mass. The vessel has an overall rocky or bony texture across the whole body, with some parts looking as if they were warped or fused onto the ship. Perhaps most interestingly of all, this depiction manages to still retain a semblance of the original bridge and superstructure, even the shape of the wood-like galleon stern remains intact.
