The sabre A ship first made in beta and now completely overhauled with extra engines and voxel-work. It is a versatile ship that is made for scanning on every planet. It can easily take of from Alioth with basic pilot skills with 200T. i personally took 260T off Alioth with my basic pilot. After the scanning is done, the ship is perfect for hauling ore back from other planets and warping. Able to warp 400T of thades, teoma and jago and warping home for only about 75 warp cells. Perfect for the higher tier ore mining. Cost 24 warp cells to warp to jago fully fueled no cargo. Also good to know the ship is made with all basic engines which makes it pretty cheap to build. DHP - Darth's Handy Platform This is the atmospheric only version. Was created to rescue ships and help with building or core placing ------------ current software version - 2.0.5 ------------ = Manual = *Modes This version of DHP software has two modes which you can switch by pressing manual button at the bottom of the screen. Those modes are *Manual mode* and *Elevator mode* **Moving [Manual mode] Horisontal movement is only allowed in manual mode! [WASD] for moving in corresponding directions and even strafe with ALT + A and ALT + D by default Also you can double tap [W] if you want to hold your forward acceleration **ECU ECU allows you to release remote control while keep flight. Remember that you can easilly release ECU control or any control you want by pressing [ctrl + backspace]. **Elevator mode In this mode you can see a keyboard and the whole interface are pretty easy to understand. Keep in mind that DHP won't let you crash it with landing. It doesn't look like much but it is capable of lifting 7KT gross cargo weight off Alioth with level 5 handling and level 4 piloting skills. This is a special ship, developed to give a lift to up to 10 passengers or crashed pilots in need. What makes this ship so special is its ability to manage over-crowded market platforms as this is what it was designed for: while it cannot protect you from market-caused disconnects and error messages, it however can easily navigate on these platforms as no obstacle is high enough to cause any problem: Unbelievably, it can hover up to one hundred and two = 102 meters (!!!!!!!) above any PLATFORM or CONSTRUCT! Yes, 102 meters were the measured maximum! Otherwise around 30 meters. We measured on the Alioth Market 6 platform which itself is 222 meters above sea level. Please refer to the screenshots. We also made sure it can reach a nice little speed, its possible maximum speed was never measured as we had to limit acceleration to 2,250 km/h (that we now call SMS = Safe Maximum Speed) to avoid damage to elements (one of the front adjustors) that we observed starting to happen at 2,256 km/h. When we shut off all engines at maximum altitude (around 4,600 m) at SMS, this ship is so airworthy it took over 20 minutes to gently glide down and land. As this ship was designed for passengers, it provides a great view thanks to large window areas and special enheightened seats positioning. You will see. And finally, we gave a very unusual yet pleasant shape to this high-speed taxi, partially inspired by those air buses seen on Coruscant, center of the Galactic Republic, in Star Wars. SIDE NOTE We had a big smile when we found out that our ship can give a few minutes of sub orbital experiences to passengers, just like Virgin Galactic's "VSS Unity" (Richard Branson) or Blue Origin's "New Shepard"" (Jeff Bezos). To do that, simply put all engines to full power, and aim upwards in "Ground Object!" mode or "Flying Object" mode. This will get you out of the atmosphere. But of course, gravity will eventually get you back and you then can do it again. So you see, you can now finally become a serious competitor to Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos! Features: - accurate simulation of wind, waves and the sea - sails settable by "G" key in 4 levels Shift+G reduces Sail surface by 1/4 - 2 steering options either you can steer with a non centering rudder or with A/D controls similar to how other constructs are being steered. Switch during operation by pressing "Alt+1" - engine limited to marina use (when sails are down). thrust Limit applies(max 10%) - extensively tested on the seas of Alioth (other planets might require adjustments, contact me for assistance) - Wind (&Rudder) Indicator (visible for the helmsman) - configurable sail texts & colors (see LUA parameters) - HoverEngine Technology allows almost infinite fuel autonomy - the Levante is compactable, so take it on your next vacation by the sea ;-) Blueprint Instructions: - there is one manual step required after setting the BP. go to build mode and right click the backward facing hover engine. under Advanced=>"disable thrust along gravity" has to be selected for the backward facing hover engine - if you want to have the original light colors, set back left to "255,0,0" and back right to "0,255,0" front light: enable blinking and set on duration to 0.1 This could be used for Regattas as well, as the speed is defined by the skills of the skipper and his/her ability to find the best course for maximum performance Some "sailing tips": - the speed you can reach depends on your angle towards the wind. the faster you go the more "heel" you will get and the more active correction of your course will be required to stay on a straight line. - It is not possible to sail directly into the wind. To sail against the wind direction you have to "cross". - to moor at your pier the auxiliary engine can be used, but only when the sail is down. It is limited to 10% of max thrust. - if you do not have a proper pier yet, you can hover up a bit using the space bar to get the boat on your plattform... (better build yourself a small marina & pier) - the ECU should always be activated/armed. when you leave the helm, this will keep the boat from sinking to the ground. After jumping on your pier, quickly touch the boat to moore it to the pier. - if you find that the boat is unable to stay on the water surface, this is usually some physic bug in the client. just get out of the seat and try again (maybe after maneuvering the boat a bit) BP's will be made available again soon(TM)

Many times the design for a ship doesn't need to be complicated to be effective and efficient! The Broken Arrow utilizes a sleek traditional shape and clever positioning for elements resulting in an impressive performance for the ship size. 5 small containers provide an excellent hauling capacity (space to add 2 more for 7 total) - she'll carry more than double her own weight in cargo with power to spare and low cost parts mean this ship won't break the bank if you happen to ding into anything during your adventures. FAST- because the weight is low this ship will do around 50k depending on skills and cargo. LOW COST- Uses basic engines all around (1L Atmo, 4M Space) keep the maintenance and fuel extremely low. This was my 'day one' ship, and still preferred daily choice. MISSION RUNNER SPECIALIST: This setup makes a fantastic mission runner ship for the 'Aileron Parts 180k' run. (Round Trip in 9 Min) . With a few pilot skills this missile can climb straight to space at 90 deg from standstill... is very lightweight so will stop on the dime or pull out of dives very easily. Use the 'Boom and Zoom' technique to loop down onto the mission turn-in before bouncing back up into space. Also makes a hilariously fun kamikaze ship for obvious reasons as well. *Ship Inspiration: One of those movies you watch about a hundred times as a kid, Broken Arrow (1996). Featured a unique plot where an air force colonel tries to steal a nuclear bomb. *Specifications listed reflect upgrades made AFTER initial ship/skills deployment.
