Mining Platforms Outpost

This is my entry for the 'Build Your Legacy' competition and while I think it fits the requirements I do not like it as much as the speeder I submitted. I think it is mainly due to the colours as I have not built with Tier 1 ore (Except concrete) for a long time so I only really had the colours provided to work with. It does feature a pad for parking your speeder underneath the structure. My favourite aspect of this design was the stands I setup for the mining units.

Ta'veren Mega Factory

Features: The Ta'veren Mega Factory is a fully modular, easily-expandable, space or static factory BP for those of you who want to link up a machine to print an end part. This factory is set to produce all components for tiers one to four. All parts with multiple outputs are designed to cycle contents. If you need more links, simply add a new box and transfer unit, remove the link from the topmost box to the bottom transfer unit, pointing to your new transfer unit, whose output goes to your new box, and link the new box to the bottom transfer unit. If you find it isn't producing as many parts as you need, simply add a new machine on top of it and have the output go to the next box. All industries are named with what they produce, as are the output boxes, so you can easily identify where things link. Color coded borders surround industries with what Tier. Also comes with DU-Locura-Storage-Info for ores and IndyHUD for your industry monitoring.

Hadron Factory Core L v6

Hadron L Factory Hadron proudly presents our first L core factory template in our signature voxel style. 2 years and 6 iterations later, our factory core has been optimized to incorporate a clever container bus system for easy manufacturing. The bus system uses a “master container > transfer unit > bus container” format and was designed in such a way, that by using S Containers on the outer edges of the core, all products and parts (eg. steel, hydraulics, frames) can be distributed to all floors that require them for further production. This method of distribution was intended to support industry for every craftable in the game and requires the minimal amount of effort to do so. The factory has no voxel walls as it is intended for 4 additional L core shells (joining up at the center of the factory core) to make up the voxel surround. It has been designed this way to reduce lag on the central factory core itself by allowing for you to create your own voxel shell around the factory on these outer “shell cores”. This allows for additional storage or industry to be added to the free space in these shell cores. Container Hubs placed on these outer shell cores can be moved to the central monitor walls, keeping them separate from the main factory itself, allowing easy access to them from the center of the main factory core. Layout Ground Floor - Refining and Pure Products The ground floor comes with a central console for accessing multiple Container Hubs and has 8 Mining Unit holders for on site harvesting of Ore. The Ore is then fed to a series of Refiners and from there, the Pure material gets fed to Smelters, Chemical Industries, Glass Furnaces or Recyclers for conversion into Products or made into Scrap/Fuel. 1st Floor - Intermediary Parts and Complex Parts The 1st floor uses the bus system to receive the Products from the floor below and has been arranged to support the production of all Intermediary Part and Complex Parts. These Parts are then fed back to the bus for distribution to the floors above. 2nd Floor - Structural Parts and Functional Parts The 2nd floor uses the bus system to receive all Products, Intermediary Parts and Complex Parts from the floors below. This floor has been arranged to support the remaining Structural Parts and Functional Parts production, completing the entirety of the games most common Parts for distribution via the bus system to the remaining 2 floors. 3rd Floor Exceptional Parts and Warp Cells The 3rd floor is intended for production of Exceptional Parts. These are specialized parts for use in high tier production and are mostly optional. We advise using this floor for the production of Warp Cells as Exceptional Parts are a key ingredient for those and various other end game items. The floor can however also be used the same as the 4th floor to house Assembly Lines for the production of anything else you choose. 4th Floor - Assembly Lines for Finished Products and Storage The final floor is a blank slate for your production needs. It has been designed so the bus system can deliver all Products and Parts (created on the floors below) to Assembly Lines of your choice. This allows for easy expansion and linking from the bus Containers (now on all 4 sides of the core) to your choice of Assemblers. Aside from the fuel they salvage from abandoned ships in the desert, the Dune Dwellers of Haven also harvest resources and produce their own fuel they sell at higher prices to desperate pilots lost in the harsh environment. Their engineering ingenuity has led to some opportunistic capitalism. Build features (2) Basic Mining Units, (2) Refiners, (2) Recyclers, and Chemical M, and other than stocking schematics is fully automated to produce either Nitron or Kergon based on what resources and schematics you provide it. - Platform for dispenser's to sell your fuel - Large blank space on the back to mount a screen to advertise to those who pass your depot. - 2 weeks of raw ore storage, based on the 2 large Mining Unit Designs. - 8,000L of Fuel Storage. - Can produce over 12,000 Liters of nitron per day based on zero skill player with calibrated units pulling both required resources @ 100l per hour. - Can be configured to produce either nitron or kergon, with right tile resources available. The plan was to test out how to make a space station about 65KM from the planet. Assuming I'd succeed the idea behind the station was to use it for making fuel and basic scrap without having to land on the planet. So I obviously succeeded at making the space station however, the location was completely wrong for the job. It turns out you need to make the space stations away from where your bases are and stock them with resources you need at those locations. That said it was fun doing it for the first time and the views are super.

Landing pad on top, nice spacious hangar, plenty of room for industry and storage all in a colorful package. Easy to expand with access doors on 3 sides to add more landing space. Industry area has a couple of different expandable set up options for your convenience. Plenty of space for parts storage as well.
