The "Carl Sagan" class of organically shaped ships that provide cargo and VIP personnel logistics. The ship is versatile. It has a cockpit that can be customized, then there is the passenger area that contains in its current configuration seats for up to 12 VIPs, and then there is its cargo bay which can be configured to hold one or more of the following customer-provided elements: - containers - seats - additional engines - warp drive - scanner - radar This ship, in its original configuration, is a LIGHT-built - mostly lithium, some sodium, small amounts of plastic, but also precious woods. The ship has the ability of uncontrolled soft landing. When having reached sufficient height and minimum speed, the pilot could leave the cockpit and she will glide towards the ground and has a smooth touch-down, provided that there are no obstacles in her way (artificial structures, steep cliffs ). She uses XS landing gear to allow easy access. Strong lights provide good sight when landing in the dark. She's at home on hovers, in the air, and in space. The ship is sold as token, and the sales are limited to a total of 10 ships only to keep her rare. The price is 9 million, but if the buyer provides all materials and elements, the price will be reduced to 7.5 million - a discount of more than 10% and well above the worth of all used elements and materials. Artemis Explorer S Core Multi-Role Hybrid Have a few mining outposts on distant planets/moons that you need to get to and from quickly? Want to hop between the Arkship and Market 12 in a few minutes? Maybe you have a small batch of elements to bring somewhere to be sold. Possibly, you're a hardened explorer on the rim of the solar system scanning tiles for that precious ore, or on a search and rescue mission to recover a damaged ship. Whatever it is you choose to do (except hauling 12 special mission with your alts to Jago), the Artemis Explorer will do it efficiently and with great performance. Personally used for delivery missions, collecting ore from mining outposts and delivering goods to market, the ship was designed to be used for many different roles. Originally fitted with a DSAT, the current layout favors fuel capacity. My first ship build of release. Wanted to get something started and finished quickly and it kind of turned into a longer than expected project. Wanted to share it with the community at a reasonable price considering the time invested. Ship can be seen and BPs purchased at my base on Haven near Market 07 ::pos{0,27,51.6526,22.6413,-0.0001} ----A few notes to keep in mind: -All indicated performance stats are with 48t of fuel (about a 50% load) and 11.4t of cargo (extra fuel and scrap I always carry) onboard. -Tier 3+ Handling Skills currently applied to BP (All Tier 3 plus Tier 4 Atmospheric Element Handling & Tier 4 Container Proficiency) -The main cargo hold is currently configured with 8 S and 2 XS containers totaling 92kl. The secondary cargo hold is 10 XS containers totaling 14kl. There is also one unlinked XS container in the cockpit for whatever. Currently Tier 4 Container Handling skills applied. -Ship is designed for high endurance operations. For normal daily operations run the atmo and space fuel tanks at roughly 50% of their max cap to increase efficiency. -Minimizing frontal cross-section to maximize efficiency was kept in mind from the earliest design stages. -The center "box" can be reconfigured in many different ways to accommodate different mission requirements. Currently, this BP is configured with 4 M space tanks and 2 S containers in the "box." These can be replaced with a DSAT, Territory Scanner, an M container, or anything you'd like, there is a lot of space to use. -The multi-directional space engines are most effective when used with any of the various player made HUDs and autopilots. They make operations in zero-g and on moons a breeze. Also, low and fast orbits around planets are achieved quite comfortably. -Testing of the max cargo lift capacity has yet to be completed. As of now, 520t of cargo with a relatively high level pilot has been taken to orbit around Haven and landed safely. I suspect a low level pilot can take 350t to orbit and land safely, and a high level pilot will be able to lift 450t regularly without pushing the limits of the ship. -Pad on top for docked XS cores -The down facing M space engines help keep a more shallow trajectory upon entering an atmosphere. This helps to prevent stalling at high altitude and allows the ship to glide into atmo quite nicely. -Low sustentation speeds make glide-in landings easy, have yet to test the limits of a vertical brake landing. -Supersonic reentries are possible but not recommended. -Such lights, much switches!

"USS Langley, (CV-1/AV-3)" - The first US Navy Aircraft Carrier 1920-1942 While this is not a replica of that famous ship, it carries that famous name. The ship has been created as a no-nonsense purpose-built work ship. There are no Deco elements (there is room to add them if you desire), there are no fancy board rooms or lighting elements and plants and frilly things. The total element count is 633. The Langley has a large flat carrier deck that is greater than the size of an M core ship, as such it can accommodate the largest M core ships in the game while they have a full load, and that is what it was built for. While this is not a "Hauler" there are 34 Advanced Optimised L Containers below deck, 4 of them for Warp Cell and miscellaneous storage. There is a massive area "On Deck" to place cargo packs or containers and your favorite ships up to a fully loaded M core. The ship has been tested with 16kt of cargo off and on to a 1G planet it is being rated at 16kt, more than that is the Pilots responsibility. There are 30x Advanced Military atmospheric engines to push this to space, and 4x Advanced Military space engines to get it to max space speed. Space Thrusters are included to make navigation at a space station easy. There is space to add 8 more ATMO Engines if you do not use an AGG. Please take some time to compare the STATS to other ships. Every effort has been made to make the ship efficient and easy to manage. ALL elements on the ship that can be boosted, are boosted to level 5 non-PvP boosts.
