I Made this ship to fly the biggest DELIVERY F8 Missions.... You can deploy this ship and fly with no skills - its a little hard to get off Alioth with the largest 1.8kt package and requires the need to ascend in levels to prevent stalling. So far it has been tried and tested on many missions for huge profits. Is it worth it? Well YES! but how much is it going to cost. I've done an analysis of all the prices of all the parts at Alioth Market 6, and the breakdown is as follows. If all products are bought at the bid it will cost 6.32 million h. If all products are bought at the mid then it will cost 8.32 million h. Lastly if you smash the BUY NOW button and just take the asking price it will cost 10.33 million h. These figures were priced 10/26/22. The following are stats were taken with a fully loaded 1.8kt 7.5m mission package. Black Icarus is my first supersonic heat-resistant ship build, it's cheap to make, but packs a punch! It's designed as fast travel ship as it can do 3000+km/h in atmosphere without taking heat damage. It uses specialized heat shield to prevent heat damage, see it in action on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kps0fKjOGPo This ship is good for running your daily errands quickly! It has enough cargo capactiy and lift to be able to carry stuff from/to markets and you can also do some surface mining. it takes 30-60 minutes to fill the cargo with ore when surface mining (depending on areas and talents) and that's something that most people are willing to do and this ship is perfect for those runs, it can circle entire alioth in under 10 minutes. It's not perfect as this was my first supersonic ship and you might break a wing or brake here and there, but just take it easy and you'll be fine. making sudden / sharp turns while going supersonic can cause more damage, so when going supersonic, keep it as steady as possible. I highly recommend custom hud with altitude hold capabilites, because it's most effective at about 1-2% atmo, you can keep throttle at about 10% and it will go 3000+ easily, while barely spending any fuel. I used this ship for my daily errands for a week before i had to refuel. It's rather cheap to build and uses all the basic parts. NOTE - i have NOT tested cargo lift, but based on stats, it should be able to do about 1200 tons depending on talents. I think most i ever did was 700t and it didn't have any issues.

This baby turns heads wherever you go. This is my personal daily driver. If you are looking for a ship that can haul multi kilotons of cargo then this is NOT the ship for you. This is not a workhorse. This is a piece of art. This ship was based on a 3D model which can be seen in the pics. This ship was built to scale as the model had human models built in. I had to highly modify the back end and add nacels in order to facilitate as much thrust as I could due to the unfortunate size of DU's engine models. I have tested this with 1KT of cargo leaving both entering and leaving Alioth with Level 4 talents. It is doable but it is not fun. I would say that this ship's happy place is around 800 tons. The top "hood" took many hours to nail down moving point by point to get the slope and lines just right. I would have loved to add more detail however I was limited by chunk complexity in most areas. Perhaps I'll get around to making that one too, one day... *Reminder: as with all flying buildings by LSA, these models can be 'buried' or snuggly fit into other static builds and effectively used nearly the same. There are no current plans to copy guild halls to static cores.
