Tempest Sky Cruiser is stylish, yet simple hauler. it's suppose to have this alien-human hybrid looks. It's designed to carry 7000t of cargo. Engines: 24x L flat hovers 6x L vertical boosters 8x L atmo 4x L space Fuel: 1x L space fuel tank (main engines) 1x L atmo fuel tank (main engines) 1x M space fuel tank (vertical boosters) 3x M atmo fuel tanks (hovers) Containers: 10x L containers and room for 10 more, but might need more stuff on it to be able to carry it (unless you're using AGG) flying it empty is like flying an xs core ship, it's very agile and turns like an eagle. even tho it's designed for about 7000t of cargo (based on talents), it can probably lift about 10000t if you have level 4-5 talents in certain things, in fact i think only low altitude lift is problem and this is beacuse of hovers and vertical boosters, so if you put few more on or have high level talents, then it should easily lift 10kt. remember that you only have to get to 1km height, then you can use anti-gravity generator, it's slow, but it can lift any weight.

This is a basic spaceplane with: 1)Ability to carry 21kL (<100t I guess ) in Atmo, very useful for hauling missions. 2)Low sustention speed and good maneuverability 3)Good space autonomy (an hour at full thrust) 4)Bad atmospheric autonomy(relatively. Full thrust will give you 700 km/h and ~1SU of flight. Can be increased by increasing your height or lowering the speed) 5)Good brakes 6)Maneuver engines for parking (thrust forward and sideways). Those have a separate fuel tank, so if you run out of fuel, just land and pump out of here. Elements: Most of them are basic and can be crafted in your backpack (exceptions are: container hub, M atmo-engine, cockpit, ECU and some decorative materials like luminescent glass) HUD: I'm using Albatross custom HUD for it's simplicity and height managing options (useful for hauling... just hit Alt-3 and you can leave it flying forward at set height). Cons are fuel displays: 50% means that you have run out of fuel for main engines...And only maneuver engines are left. RDMS: didn't touch it at all. Now on version 3 that includes all the VPT work that wasn't around when I first made it. The Spindler was my second ship that I made and my first to see space. Many moons later I've completely redesigned it with better, prettier voxel work, upgraded engines and really better stats all the way around. While my first space faring ship worked, this one will help you make that transition to space so much easier and with much better style than I had. The Dragonfly is the result of my first 3 days into Dual Universe. She was designed to lift me off of Haven and to Alioth. Boy, had I known there was rent to be paid, I might have stayed a bit longer. Anyways, the Dragonfly is a reliable and practical ship, biggest I could make her with XS size. She is a hybrid, easily gets you to space and does the Haven-Alioth back and forth trip multiple times before running out of juice. The Dragonfly also comes with a small interior and can be Upped with additional cargo whenever necessary. She is built smart, with maximum maneuverability and ideal weight distribution in mind. And on top of all that, she is pretty. You should be able to build her without the need to purchase anything with an assembly line M and by disassembling the pilot outpost starter base.
