Select a few roids and mark down their Planet area and location. In the Safe Zone look for Uncommon asteroids and in the PVP zone look for asteroids that are over 200 SU away. In the safe zone you want roids that have not been broadcast very long so 1-3 days old, but in the PVP zone you want roids that are 3-9 days old. The reason for this is that more recent roids in the PVP zone have more action. Ideally you'll find a roid 3-9 days old that hasn't been touched and will be safe to mine without worry of Legion. The truth is, there are just too many roids for Legion to patrol and the further away from Alioth you are the harder it is for them to patrol. You may want to avoid Teoma as they have bases there and may patrol that region more often. Avoid any roids just over the PVP zone as this is where everyone gets killed. Legion targets it because its where alot of people go. Follow this advise and I'm sure you'll find success. You should make upwards of 5m/hr, so paying off the cost of the ship is easy resulting in a very good risk reward for PVP roiding. If you want to hunt and discover Roids, put a DSAT in the inventory and stick it on when needed. I'll offer a guarantee that if you have not paid off the cost of the ship with Roid earnings and you get killed following these instructions I will give you a free Blueprint and send you funds for new ship costs. The "Rock Hauler" named specifically after it's purpose is an M-Class hauling Frigate. A staple in the Rock Raider's logistic fleet, this commonly seen craft is reliable, sturdy, and affordable. Most rock raiders believe you should fly the ship for the purpose you need. Thus this hauler makes no attempts to visually look like a sports car, but instead is true in aesthetic to its industrialistic function of moving heaving things from point A to point B. With such design approach the Rock Raiders felt it was unnecessary to create a pressurized cabin and instead created a life support system built into the seat to supply oxygen and regulate temperatures for the hauler pilot.

Keep in mind that DHP won't let you crash it with landing. The Grindylow, by Stormsteel, is a super efficient light hauler. With no piloting skills, this ship can get 500 tons off of Alioth. The Grindylow is extremely fuel efficient, and can run the Aileron Parts mission at least 10 times on a single fuel fill. The handling in atmo is top notch and the ship is capable of gliding on its wings with little to no thrust even with weight on board. The Grindylow comes with Albatross HUD installed on the seat, and Damage Report hooked up to the two screens on the bridge. Most elements of the ship are repairable from the inside. The Grindylow includes a Resurrection Node towards the back of the ship. Stormsteel Guarantee: All Stormsteel ships come with max boosts to all piloting elements. "Valdez V2" Built as a Serious hauling Vessel. The ship has been created as a no-nonsense purpose-built work ship. There are no Deco elements, there are no fancy board rooms or lighting elements and plants and frilly things. Very easy to deploy with alternate color choices. The total element count is 512 as delivered. The Valdez uses 18 Advanced Optimized L containers for Cargo and 2 Advanced Optimized M containers for Scrap & Warp Cells. There are 24 Advanced Military Atmospheric Engines & 4 Advanced Safe Space Engines. It has been tested leaving Sanctuary with 10kt of Cargo (12.6 kt total ship mass). It will surely lift more from a 1g planet but 10kt it what it is being rated at. This is not a build for the Novice player, due to the expense of the elements, however it will fly well in the hands of any pilot. - AGG and Warp drive are built in. - ALL elements on the ship that can be boosted, are boosted to level 5 NON PvP skills. - All listed attributes were taken while in VR so they reflect zero pilot skills, and the ship was dry and empty. P6 Patroller corvettes serve as UEF Navy picket ships, screening larger combat vessels from attack with their agile rapid cannon fire. Atypical of most space-only combat vessels, P6s may be launched from ground stations to orbit on as little as 15% of their rocket fuel, allowing for 75 seconds worth of additional afterburner fuel for combat scenarios. Upon return they are equipped for gliding landings back to their home bases.
