The Levante by Hagbard "A person without dreams is like a boat without sails..." The Levante is a sailboat that allows you to experience the wind, the waves, the ride and heeling of a sailboat in DU. Big portions of the voxelwork for the hull was done by Singularity org. **IMPORTANT: read the BP placing instructions below!** BP Dispensers are at Marina Hagbard: ::pos{0,2,38.3028,62.7694,34.7477} I am offering this BP a lot cheaper then usually as i want to see the seas of our planet full with boats, so that you're all able to enjoy this new kind of construct. Features: - accurate simulation of wind, waves and the sea - sails settable by "G" key in 4 levels Shift+G reduces Sail surface by 1/4 - 2 steering options either you can steer with a non centering rudder or with A/D controls similar to how other constructs are being steered. Switch during operation by pressing "Alt+1" - engine limited to marina use (when sails are down). thrust Limit applies(max 10%) - extensively tested on the seas of Alioth (other planets might require adjustments, contact me for assistance) - Wind (&Rudder) Indicator (visible for the helmsman) - configurable sail texts & colors (see LUA parameters) - HoverEngine Technology allows almost infinite fuel autonomy - the Levante is compactable, so take it on your next vacation by the sea ;-) Blueprint Instructions: - there is one manual step required after setting the BP. go to build mode and right click the backward facing hover engine. under Advanced=>"disable thrust along gravity" has to be selected for the backward facing hover engine - if you want to have the original light colors, set back left to "255,0,0" and back right to "0,255,0" front light: enable blinking and set on duration to 0.1 This could be used for Regattas as well, as the speed is defined by the skills of the skipper and his/her ability to find the best course for maximum performance Some "sailing tips": - the speed you can reach depends on your angle towards the wind. the faster you go the more "heel" you will get and the more active correction of your course will be required to stay on a straight line. - It is not possible to sail directly into the wind. To sail against the wind direction you have to "cross". - to moor at your pier the auxiliary engine can be used, but only when the sail is down. It is limited to 10% of max thrust. - if you do not have a proper pier yet, you can hover up a bit using the space bar to get the boat on your plattform... (better build yourself a small marina & pier) - the ECU should always be activated/armed. when you leave the helm, this will keep the boat from sinking to the ground. After jumping on your pier, quickly touch the boat to moore it to the pier. - if you find that the boat is unable to stay on the water surface, this is usually some physic bug in the client. just get out of the seat and try again (maybe after maneuvering the boat a bit) BP's will be made available again soon(TM)

This is to make entry level to this ship more affordable to build. ... but no need to wait for me, you are free to upgrade this ship as you like. Modifications since beta: I've added double the atmo engines, added a few Space Engine Ls, and a bunch of aileron Ms. I also moved space and added atmo radar to the front where they're not blocked. I also added a few other tweaks like adding an extra atmo fuel tank for the new engines, a Resurrection node in the PvP room, a VR station in one of the bedrooms, and more. With the default Advanced Military version, I've personally escaped atmo with 5kT onboard. I have L5 talents for thrust and L4 for all other flight metrics. It'll lift more with maxed talents when you get them! We are purposely keeping the price quite high because this ship will be exclusive. We don't want everyone to have one or it'll stop turning heads and attracting a crowd when shopping. Owners of this ship enjoy the attention this premier ship draws. If you want to hop around quickly between mining units or dash to the store and back for a few items, without taking your large fuel-sucking ship, look no further! I loaded the container with 56t of pure iron, hematite and other ores and this ship has no troubles at all flying this, however, although the hovers lift plenty of weight, it can't lift full iron amounts of weight (I can lift about 50% of the Container S full of iron with the hovers). I took off on a straight, smooth surface with all that iron. Sustentation speed is very low (90kp/h!) to it's easy to putt-putt in the air for perfect aim in landing. I also have a compactable version with no container and a single fuel tank in a different dispenser at the same location. Because the game has changed a lot since this unit was designed and because ground mining on the planet has been removed, the mining plugins have been removed. The design of the unit has been improved to accommodate the "no stacking of elements" rule and more thrust has been added. A hover engine has been added to allow the player to stand still for hours. A new plugin has been added: Harvester. It allows you to store the location in a database with a timer. Pocketship version of the good old WW2 german fighterplane BF 109. top speed is about 900kph, not the fastest but its very maneuverable and the small tank holds for hours at above 3k alt. If you haven't got valuable cargo to transport, warping is often too expensive to justify. The Bantam is a personal craft for planetary travel, market runs and nanopack-sized purchases, transit between the surface to your space station, or an occasional joyride to a nearby moon. It takes off quickly and accelerates to max speed in seconds. The sleek, low-cross-section profile allows re-entry or cruising in high atmosphere at up to 2000 km/h without damage. Albatross HUD makes piloting a snap. The Basic Version can be built entirely in the nanocrafter, except for the optional square light and atmospheric radar. Both of those components can be obtained from starter outposts, if desired, as can many more such as engines and adjusters. The blueprint has level 5 placement for space, atmo, tanks. Honeycomb colors can be easily changed now, so go crazy! (purple and green not required) Because it weighs less than 10 tons, it can accelerate to 50,000 kph max speed. On a round trip it will use about half of the XS fuel tank with no talents. Plenty of reserve for emergency turn-and-burn braking if necessary! This little ship is a lot of fun to fly and can get you to any place in the solar system at a fraction the cost of UEF ships.

The Raider MK7 is an S core light transport with 10 S containers. it is designed as a personal craft with capacity to carry multiple alts or friends. It has enough cargo to carry basic needs while being made of light materials to allow for lower cost of operation and lower warp cost. Simply change the color of the lumi when deploying the blueprint to change the ship scheme to match your color choices.
