This baby turns heads wherever you go. This is my personal daily driver. If you are looking for a ship that can haul multi kilotons of cargo then this is NOT the ship for you. This is not a workhorse. This is a piece of art. This ship was based on a 3D model which can be seen in the pics. This ship was built to scale as the model had human models built in. I had to highly modify the back end and add nacels in order to facilitate as much thrust as I could due to the unfortunate size of DU's engine models. I have tested this with 1KT of cargo leaving both entering and leaving Alioth with Level 4 talents. It is doable but it is not fun. I would say that this ship's happy place is around 800 tons. The top "hood" took many hours to nail down moving point by point to get the slope and lines just right. I would have loved to add more detail however I was limited by chunk complexity in most areas. Years of dedication and passion have resulted in the construction of the Calico. Hand crafted with the highest level of voxel detail and deliberate element placement of any ship I’ve made before. The Calico has everything you need in a warp shuttle and so much more. Inspired by the Star Atlas “Calico Hero” and adapted to the mechanics of Dual Universe; the Calico is engineered to rival any small core warp shuttle available in game. Entering the ship from either side will reveal a wide open cargo hold for installing additional containers or securely storing an XS speeder. On the front walls you will find switches for toggling on/off the lights and screens throughout the ship and on the back wall 3 Programming Boards. The top Programming Board enables the Ship Info script found in the cockpit. The reinforced door leads to the cockpit and up the stairs to the two main flight controllers, both of which come with Arch HUD GFN version preinstalled. When seated you will find a screen displaying the Shield Activator Script (written by RobRocketPants and updated by FinalX) and a screen displaying Ship Info (script by Krengus of ASTco) for easy access while flying. The unique glass canopy spanning the length of the ship provides the pilot and passengers with an unparalleled sense of openness and spatial awareness. Towards the back of the ship and either side of the Resurrection Node are access ladders to the living quarters. Upstairs you will find the 3D Augmented Reality Damage Report (script by Koruzarius), 2 passenger seats, the Container HUB and the RGB light control (script by Krengus of ASTco). From the living quarters you have access to the fuel tanks, however 2 hatches on the roof can also be used to access the same tanks from outside. This recreation of the Astral Express, a spaceship from the game Honkai: Star Rail, is the flagship product of Ad Astra Shipyards. This design features a faithful reconstruction of the interior of the train-themed spaceship, with minor creative liberties taken in the design of the exterior hull to account for the ship’s TARDIS-esque interior dimensions. The ship is a work of art, and as such is unarmed; but per Ad Astra’s standards, it is fully capable of both atmospheric and space flight via 40 M Wings, 18 L atmospheric engines, and 12 L space engines. The ship itself is composed of a L-Core containing the locomotive and coachcar, as well as all flight systems; the rear car is a carefully-docked M-core. Contact us via the info in our bio for assistance in docking the two cores correctly, as the construction of the ship requires the two constructs to overlap slightly. The blueprints for the individual cores can also be purchased separately if you don’t want to deal with that hassle. VR access is available to explore the complete ship! Zenith is a low cost warp ship, that is able to pick up some cargo with its 10 small containers. Zenith is also over engineered with space / atmo brakes, so you will have the extra safety when needed.
