This XS core, ultra light orbiter was sculpted entirely using the VPT for maximum style. Designed with fuel economy and basic parts in mind, I set out to make a sleek, easy to acquire ship that everyone can enjoy post wipe. The Luminaris has 1 Medium and 2 Small Atmospheric engines with 4 Small Space engines and has a top speed of 49,000km/h+ in space. Feel the thrill as you drift around celestial bodies and stop on a dime when you reach the end of your intrepid journey. The ship wasn’t built for hauling although 6 Basic XS Containers on a hub are provided for light shopping and carrying around your data items, spare fuel and scrap. I hope you have as much fun flying the Luminaris as I had building the ship. Achieving the tiny form factor without compromising on the elements needed to retain its performance was, in some ways, more of a challenge than on the M core Stiletto I built. The Luminaris comes with Arch HUD by default (made by Archaegeo). On top of that I have chosen to use the Container Monitor open source LUA by Krengus of ASTCO as this is a helpful script for checking weight, fuel and inventory at a glance. Capable of escaping 1g with 200t of cargo - even with zero piloting talents - it's suitable for a new player who wants to kick-start their progress. It also has surplus high altitude lift and braking power to make it easier to fly. With maxed technician and piloting talents the Squire can escape 1g with up to 500t and carry up to 700t in atmo. With an optional warp drive, plenty of fuel, and a cozy interior, the Squire has only one notable drawback: If you intend to use the Squire for mission running, keep in mind that the cargo is only 120kL. I got on DUC to update this ship and it turns out I never listed it at all. So here it is, the Admirari. It's an S core and configurable to your needs. designed to support modularity (i made that word up). Pop scanner pods, cargo pods, DSAT pods or just add on up to 6 Container L's on the racks. Hauls around 1kt with moderate piloting skills. I use it for market running because it's fast and powerful. 6 uncommon maneuver Atmo L and 4 uncommon military space L engines. It handles like a champ and didn't have to change anything flight wise when I started updating my ships for Athena. I rearranged the interior a bit to add in a second container M and just make it prettier in general. It's a treat to fly and fairly inexpensive to warp. coming in at just under 500t, 605t fully fueled. Atmo speed set at 1200 with no burning and space capable up to 25k km/h.
