Artemis Explorer S Core Multi-Role Hybrid Have a few mining outposts on distant planets/moons that you need to get to and from quickly? Want to hop between the Arkship and Market 12 in a few minutes? Maybe you have a small batch of elements to bring somewhere to be sold. Possibly, you're a hardened explorer on the rim of the solar system scanning tiles for that precious ore, or on a search and rescue mission to recover a damaged ship. Whatever it is you choose to do (except hauling 12 special mission with your alts to Jago), the Artemis Explorer will do it efficiently and with great performance. Personally used for delivery missions, collecting ore from mining outposts and delivering goods to market, the ship was designed to be used for many different roles. Originally fitted with a DSAT, the current layout favors fuel capacity. My first ship build of release. Wanted to get something started and finished quickly and it kind of turned into a longer than expected project. Wanted to share it with the community at a reasonable price considering the time invested. Ship can be seen and BPs purchased at my base on Haven near Market 07 ::pos{0,27,51.6526,22.6413,-0.0001} ----A few notes to keep in mind: -All indicated performance stats are with 48t of fuel (about a 50% load) and 11.4t of cargo (extra fuel and scrap I always carry) onboard. -Tier 3+ Handling Skills currently applied to BP (All Tier 3 plus Tier 4 Atmospheric Element Handling & Tier 4 Container Proficiency) -The main cargo hold is currently configured with 8 S and 2 XS containers totaling 92kl. The secondary cargo hold is 10 XS containers totaling 14kl. There is also one unlinked XS container in the cockpit for whatever. Currently Tier 4 Container Handling skills applied. -Ship is designed for high endurance operations. For normal daily operations run the atmo and space fuel tanks at roughly 50% of their max cap to increase efficiency. -Minimizing frontal cross-section to maximize efficiency was kept in mind from the earliest design stages. -The center "box" can be reconfigured in many different ways to accommodate different mission requirements. Currently, this BP is configured with 4 M space tanks and 2 S containers in the "box." These can be replaced with a DSAT, Territory Scanner, an M container, or anything you'd like, there is a lot of space to use. -The multi-directional space engines are most effective when used with any of the various player made HUDs and autopilots. They make operations in zero-g and on moons a breeze. Also, low and fast orbits around planets are achieved quite comfortably. -Testing of the max cargo lift capacity has yet to be completed. As of now, 520t of cargo with a relatively high level pilot has been taken to orbit around Haven and landed safely. I suspect a low level pilot can take 350t to orbit and land safely, and a high level pilot will be able to lift 450t regularly without pushing the limits of the ship. -Pad on top for docked XS cores -The down facing M space engines help keep a more shallow trajectory upon entering an atmosphere. This helps to prevent stalling at high altitude and allows the ship to glide into atmo quite nicely. -Low sustentation speeds make glide-in landings easy, have yet to test the limits of a vertical brake landing. -Supersonic reentries are possible but not recommended. -Such lights, much switches!

Inspired by the Star Atlas “Calico Hero” and adapted to the mechanics of Dual Universe; the Calico is engineered to rival any small core warp shuttle available in game. Entering the ship from either side will reveal a wide open cargo hold for installing additional containers or securely storing an XS speeder. On the front walls you will find switches for toggling on/off the lights and screens throughout the ship and on the back wall 3 Programming Boards. The top Programming Board enables the Ship Info script found in the cockpit. The reinforced door leads to the cockpit and up the stairs to the two main flight controllers, both of which come with Arch HUD GFN version preinstalled. The same model ship that Luthen Rael prefers in Andor, the Fondor Haulcraft is a small-core hubrid hauler with warp drive. It has the equivalent of 1 1/2 Large containers of cargo space. It can lift around 450 to 600 tons off Alioth. Its meant to be a daily driver. Small enough to warp, large enough to carry a respectable load, and fast enough to get in and out quick. Notice the full detail interior as close to the show ship as I can manage. Round hallways! I build a lot of ships, but I really like this one and its my current daily driver. The discovery has been my daily driver since beta, it's never let me down. This ship can easily take twenty kilotons out of Alioth's atmosphere. It has twelve large containers and two mediums. The Discovery is an M Core and can haul several smaller ships on her deck. You could put extra containers on the deck as well or just using it as a working platform. This particular ship is the hauler version they're all so is a courier version available. 25 million for the blueprint I think is fair for everything this ship can accomplish.

Select a few roids and mark down their Planet area and location. In the Safe Zone look for Uncommon asteroids and in the PVP zone look for asteroids that are over 200 SU away. In the safe zone you want roids that have not been broadcast very long so 1-3 days old, but in the PVP zone you want roids that are 3-9 days old. The reason for this is that more recent roids in the PVP zone have more action. Ideally you'll find a roid 3-9 days old that hasn't been touched and will be safe to mine without worry of Legion. The truth is, there are just too many roids for Legion to patrol and the further away from Alioth you are the harder it is for them to patrol. You may want to avoid Teoma as they have bases there and may patrol that region more often. Avoid any roids just over the PVP zone as this is where everyone gets killed. Legion targets it because its where alot of people go. Follow this advise and I'm sure you'll find success. You should make upwards of 5m/hr, so paying off the cost of the ship is easy resulting in a very good risk reward for PVP roiding. If you want to hunt and discover Roids, put a DSAT in the inventory and stick it on when needed. I'll offer a guarantee that if you have not paid off the cost of the ship with Roid earnings and you get killed following these instructions I will give you a free Blueprint and send you funds for new ship costs. If you haven't got valuable cargo to transport, warping is often too expensive to justify. The Bantam is a personal craft for planetary travel, market runs and nanopack-sized purchases, transit between the surface to your space station, or an occasional joyride to a nearby moon. It takes off quickly and accelerates to max speed in seconds. The sleek, low-cross-section profile allows re-entry or cruising in high atmosphere at up to 2000 km/h without damage. Albatross HUD makes piloting a snap. The Basic Version can be built entirely in the nanocrafter, except for the optional square light and atmospheric radar. Both of those components can be obtained from starter outposts, if desired, as can many more such as engines and adjusters. The blueprint has level 5 placement for space, atmo, tanks. Honeycomb colors can be easily changed now, so go crazy! (purple and green not required) Because it weighs less than 10 tons, it can accelerate to 50,000 kph max speed. On a round trip it will use about half of the XS fuel tank with no talents. Plenty of reserve for emergency turn-and-burn braking if necessary! This little ship is a lot of fun to fly and can get you to any place in the solar system at a fraction the cost of UEF ships.
