The Battleship has withstand the test of time, being alive and still fighting after a hundred years The most common and iconic look of the battleship resembles a cross between an old-fashioned galleon and a World War II-era battleship, uniformly colored in a mossy, olivine, or deep military black. Ikarus Industries presents the medium core Minotaur. The Minotaur is equipped with 8 large basic atmo and 8 large uncommon military space engines. Has downward and strafe space thrust to help land on asteroids and space stations. There is a total of 2 large containers on a hub. Comes with fully developed interior which includes four bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Coffee maker, vending machine, common area and bridge. Tested with 1.2kt and was able to leave Alioth with Tier 4 put downs and pilot skill. Could probably do a little bit more. All stats are with tier 4 put downs with tier 5 atmo engine put down. This is a basic spaceplane with: 1)Ability to carry 21kL (<100t I guess ) in Atmo, very useful for hauling missions. 2)Low sustention speed and good maneuverability 3)Good space autonomy (an hour at full thrust) 4)Bad atmospheric autonomy(relatively. Full thrust will give you 700 km/h and ~1SU of flight. Can be increased by increasing your height or lowering the speed) 5)Good brakes 6)Maneuver engines for parking (thrust forward and sideways). Those have a separate fuel tank, so if you run out of fuel, just land and pump out of here. Elements: Most of them are basic and can be crafted in your backpack (exceptions are: container hub, M atmo-engine, cockpit, ECU and some decorative materials like luminescent glass) HUD: I'm using Albatross custom HUD for it's simplicity and height managing options (useful for hauling... just hit Alt-3 and you can leave it flying forward at set height). Cons are fuel displays: 50% means that you have run out of fuel for main engines...And only maneuver engines are left. RDMS: didn't touch it at all. Working out the token price finished! 450t out of atmo with good pilot skills (limited by basic engines) 990T out of atmo with upgrades to engines, then its a high altitude lift limit the ship comes with a damage report script and my custom revamp of the default flight script which hides docking and radar widgets and introduces a brake toggle. The Oreweaver uses basic elements but custom orders are available. Getting my first creation out there. Tried to get close to the design from Serenity's Mule. Still trying to figure the nuances to ship building. Any and all pointers are most welcomed.
