Though not as sleek or sophisticated as her Martian counterparts, the Truman-Class is famed for her sturdiness and reliability, serving as the immovable centre of a UNN Battlegroup through any manner of engagement. Using new and advanced heavy laser weapon systems, the standard Truman-Class may excel in most any situation within fleet engagements or solo missions across the system. Though her acceleration under full load of fuel and ammunition may not reach similar performances as other gunships might boast, the fact that her 6 XL engines are uncommon maneuver models mean she will be able to accelerate and re-align her vector fast enough to still be able to get into range of most any opponent. Ship stats: (stats changed from beta to launch!) - 6 advanced heavy laser L, combined to 1 L gunner seat with an optimal range of 0.86su - can be controlled by a single gunner who may also pilot the ship via remote control. If you are a singleplayer, you can be effective with this ship all on your own - fairly balanced inertia matrix greatly reduces involuntary axis drift during maneuvers - around 8g+ of maximum thrust with the base engines (Uncommon Maneuver Space XL) - around 6g+ of brake force - 8771m³ steel frame, reinforced with 1152m³ gold honeycomb, aswell as 3027m³ silver honeycomb and slightly above 1000m³ decorational interior HC (Lumi Glass, Carbon Fiber, Aluminium) - ship has enough space within its hull for customization (additional cargo containers for example) or for future elements (shield modules, energy reactors etc.) - successfully BATTLE-TESTED against a Russian railboat If you like not having to rely on friends being online whenever you look for PvP content, then this single-seater laserboat in the aesthetic design of "The Expanse" UNN ships might be just for you. The Stellarwing is an exercise in minimalism. Available in both cargo and warp versions. Its fitted with a few chairs if you care to take your alts or friends along with you. For those using it as an alt carrier, you can easily fit a res node inside the ship covering the upper hatch. She also has minimal cross-section, so even when using rare militaries, has good fuel consumption. We won't lie the warp version is far from the fastest, but by using only medium engines, it has exceptional fuel consumption. She warps from Alioth to Teoma on 14 warp cells fully fueled, which isn't bad for something a little more brash than a warp drive with wings and a few engines. She also has storage to store a warp drive in the cargo and will make it to space with decent skills and a patient pilot in this configuration (3's should do it). In cargo mode, she has 4 xs containers and 2 s. More than enough for whipping around to the market and small pick-ups. She'll easily carry 100t, with 200 not being out of the question with a patient pilot. She'll cruise at over 2000 with altitude without popping components.
