Select a few roids and mark down their Planet area and location. In the Safe Zone look for Uncommon asteroids and in the PVP zone look for asteroids that are over 200 SU away. In the safe zone you want roids that have not been broadcast very long so 1-3 days old, but in the PVP zone you want roids that are 3-9 days old. The reason for this is that more recent roids in the PVP zone have more action. Ideally you'll find a roid 3-9 days old that hasn't been touched and will be safe to mine without worry of Legion. The truth is, there are just too many roids for Legion to patrol and the further away from Alioth you are the harder it is for them to patrol. You may want to avoid Teoma as they have bases there and may patrol that region more often. Avoid any roids just over the PVP zone as this is where everyone gets killed. Legion targets it because its where alot of people go. Follow this advise and I'm sure you'll find success. You should make upwards of 5m/hr, so paying off the cost of the ship is easy resulting in a very good risk reward for PVP roiding. If you want to hunt and discover Roids, put a DSAT in the inventory and stick it on when needed. After many months of working on it, I'm proud to present the STAR SHAPER MK 1.0. Before starting the description of the ship, all the statistics given on the page are done with the cargo capacity fulfilled @80% to not over states the presentation and to give a proper vision of the ship with cargo on it. And those stats are provided with LVL 5 talents for ship. SO once builded you need to upgrade the talents on it to 5. This ship is dedicated to mission / asteroid mining as it integrate a DSAT inside giving you the opportunity to fly from an asteroid to another one with a 4 L Containers capacity as main hub + 2 S Containers as secondary Hub for warp cells. The Star Shaper is perfectly balanced to provide the best flying experience to their users. Their is obviously an interior design with multiple rooms dedicated to game aspect apart a meeting room which is their for the roleplay. The Star Shaper is equipped with an anti gravity engine and a dock on the below part of the ship that can give access to a small pocket ship. With this setup you can stop on altitude where you want to go and just take your pocket ship to go down on surface staying in distance from your linked containers, which gives you the opportunity to go to market doing business without landing. The DSAT is accessible / can be monitored from the cockpit and is perfectly integrated into the ship to provide the best design / look & feel. The anti gravity engine is also monitored via the cockpit with a screen & a script that allow to setup the anti gravity altitude / set status of the AntiGrav (Active / Offline) The ship is equipped with the standard scripts: - Ship info - Archeo orbital HUD - Warp map - Anti gravity monitoring The Star Shaper as been tested multiple times / adjusted to reach the perfect balanced announced further. FiRun has been my daily driver after 1.1 update and bots removal. It is almost non profitable to haul huge amounts of ore from fields to markets. Therefore demand of these lightweigth "small/medium" haulers has increased. FiRun idea is to haul max 42kl ores from nearby (less that 100km) fields to your base when needed with lowest possible fuel usage (freigh engines, no vtol, no heavy space equipment). If your fields are further, maybe space capable ship is your choise then (faster). Naturally you can use FiRun for all things you do in atmo planets, personal carrier, market runner etc. Ship carries easily/safely full load of baux/coal/quartz or 10-20kl hematite depending your skills. Ship flies well also with lvl0 skills. Numbers here given by skill lvl 3-4 pilot. Ship includes preinstalled scripts ArchHUD and DU-Locura-Storage-Info (modded by me to include weight warning system including lights in cockpit and top of the vessel). Weight warning limits can be adjusted, I like flying my ships without thinking is it safe with any load I might currently carry. View Finder is my entry for the 'Build Your Legacy' competition. Since it is meant to be a starter speeder I tried to keep it simple and the only element I really added was glass. It functions as a speeder and I like that it kind of says finish me. I could easily see people adding a back section and more engines to make it the ship they want rather than the speeder I made.
