My goal in this game has always just been to cruise around and explore, so the focus of the tinkering has been getting something that flies as well as possible, and I am pretty pleased with how it came out so I thought I would share. It is good for about 50t off of Alioth on the basic version depending on skills. Burn speed is up around 1850 so is pretty forgiving if you come back in to atmo a little hot. Container hub and engines centered on 0,0 so it stays balanced regardless of load. All medium engines so nice and fuel efficient. All a single honeycomb type so feel free to replace with your voxel of choice. Stats are listed for the "basic" engine version which uses pure carbon as the weight reference. Engines also easy to swap out, coordinates in the pictures, though it seems you need to pull the ailerons off to place the engines and put them back on when you are done. Whether you are brand new and looking to upgrade but not ready for the big large engine haulers, or have been around a while and just looking to try something different on the cheap, feel free to come by and check them out. An elevator as elegant in design as it is in operation. This is a beautifully crafted elevator which can lift 5kt. It can be set up to follow a path perpendicular to the construct from which it was launched. This will allow elevators on the same, or adjacent, aligned cores to travel parallel paths to space, and arrive in the same relative locations in space as they hold on the ground. It does not use breadcrumbs, neither does it stop to correct deviation, as deviation is continually corrected while in flight. It maintains the same flight axis at all times, so does not become confused if it gets nearer to another celestial body than whence it started. Automatic docking is standard, with an extremely simple and reliable circuit. There are two setup modes, a simple one intended for first time deployment or testing, and a precise one, which uses a programming board, intended for parallel axes use, and after moving an elevator to a new location. For when you are too tired or can't be arsed to haul your ores up to space every week after your calibration runs. Or just for when you need to bring stuff up to your space station, here is the Medusa Elevator, equiped with Yoari's Elevator script and comes with all it's perks. This creature was made with a small profile in mind and lands perfectly on a matching launch pad and docks nicely on a custom space platform (see my other statics, Kombat and Bogdan). It is not the strongest elevator but it was made to haul up all the ores you can pump up for a dense ore field in one week. Pluck done one of these elevators in the middle of your field, ride it down from space and do all the calibrations with your pocket rocket, delivering all the ores directly into the elevator. The base doubles as a tri-tile mining rig so those are already done. After you calibrated and picked up the last of the ores for the week, fold up your pocket rocket, jump in the seat of the elevator and let it take you back up to your space only hauler which is waiting on the deck of the Bogdan space dock. Borg Cube style Cube, yes! this beast is S-core build, but easily out-performs most M-core and even some L-core builds. It has 2x XL space engines and 12x L atmo engines, with bunch of wings. I did 7.5kt (7500 tons) with this beast and it held together just fine, low alt lift was barely enough, but i managed to get it to 3500m and hold it there just fine, landing can be rough if you dont have enough space, but land it like a plane! just be careful with arch, DO NOT press "G" to land, lower the altitude yourself, because arch does not consider your ship's weight, it will SLAM you into ground. best part is adjustors, it has perfect adjustor placement, because well .. it's a CUBE! it turns better than any other ship (not a joke) and center of mass is almost in center, maybe off by 2%. Container hub is also right in the center, so if you fill it with cargo, then center of mass will be exactly in center. comes with 10x L containers, but there's enough room inside for more stuff. it has basic interior to keep the weight down, but also so its easy to repair the elements in case you damage them. So in atmo it does 7.5kt (including ship's weight), but you can put more hovers on it or replace hovers for vboosters and put more wings on it and i think it will handle 9-10kt in atmo, however i doubt it lifts more than 5kt into space, might get 6kt if you know how to fly, but you might end up taking some heat damage. you can further modify it by adding downwards space engines and it should easily get 6kt into space. This truly is the most powerful S-core ship i have built or seen and it has room for improvements, i just don't like to build ships with too many elements as they start lagging real bad :(

Select a few roids and mark down their Planet area and location. In the Safe Zone look for Uncommon asteroids and in the PVP zone look for asteroids that are over 200 SU away. In the safe zone you want roids that have not been broadcast very long so 1-3 days old, but in the PVP zone you want roids that are 3-9 days old. The reason for this is that more recent roids in the PVP zone have more action. Ideally you'll find a roid 3-9 days old that hasn't been touched and will be safe to mine without worry of Legion. The truth is, there are just too many roids for Legion to patrol and the further away from Alioth you are the harder it is for them to patrol. You may want to avoid Teoma as they have bases there and may patrol that region more often. Avoid any roids just over the PVP zone as this is where everyone gets killed. Legion targets it because its where alot of people go. Follow this advise and I'm sure you'll find success. You should make upwards of 5m/hr, so paying off the cost of the ship is easy resulting in a very good risk reward for PVP roiding. If you want to hunt and discover Roids, put a DSAT in the inventory and stick it on when needed. I'll offer a guarantee that if you have not paid off the cost of the ship with Roid earnings and you get killed following these instructions I will give you a free Blueprint and send you funds for new ship costs. Black Icarus is my first supersonic heat-resistant ship build, it's cheap to make, but packs a punch! It's designed as fast travel ship as it can do 3000+km/h in atmosphere without taking heat damage. It uses specialized heat shield to prevent heat damage, see it in action on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kps0fKjOGPo This ship is good for running your daily errands quickly! It has enough cargo capactiy and lift to be able to carry stuff from/to markets and you can also do some surface mining. it takes 30-60 minutes to fill the cargo with ore when surface mining (depending on areas and talents) and that's something that most people are willing to do and this ship is perfect for those runs, it can circle entire alioth in under 10 minutes. It's not perfect as this was my first supersonic ship and you might break a wing or brake here and there, but just take it easy and you'll be fine. making sudden / sharp turns while going supersonic can cause more damage, so when going supersonic, keep it as steady as possible. I highly recommend custom hud with altitude hold capabilites, because it's most effective at about 1-2% atmo, you can keep throttle at about 10% and it will go 3000+ easily, while barely spending any fuel. I used this ship for my daily errands for a week before i had to refuel. It's rather cheap to build and uses all the basic parts. NOTE - i have NOT tested cargo lift, but based on stats, it should be able to do about 1200 tons depending on talents. I think most i ever did was 700t and it didn't have any issues.

After 5 other major iterations since beta, the starjumper is my entry into the S core hauler market and is being sold as a blueprint with DRM removed. The starjumper was designed to haul 500t, and has room for one L container in the cargo bay. In testing, I was able to lift 900t to orbit (with rare vertical boosters). Upgrading the elements, it can easily push more than 500t of cargo. Blueprint comes with Advanced Military Atmo and Military Space engines (2 L each).
