Tri scanner for lots of scanning i updated it for the brakes update and made it a little more effecient. The IDS has 2 10 packs one of xs and one of small for material territory units and the like. also has 6 seperated xs containers in main haul for seperating scans its very stable with nice vtol and easy to balance. Select a few roids and mark down their Planet area and location. In the Safe Zone look for Uncommon asteroids and in the PVP zone look for asteroids that are over 200 SU away. In the safe zone you want roids that have not been broadcast very long so 1-3 days old, but in the PVP zone you want roids that are 3-9 days old. The reason for this is that more recent roids in the PVP zone have more action. Ideally you'll find a roid 3-9 days old that hasn't been touched and will be safe to mine without worry of Legion. The truth is, there are just too many roids for Legion to patrol and the further away from Alioth you are the harder it is for them to patrol. You may want to avoid Teoma as they have bases there and may patrol that region more often. Avoid any roids just over the PVP zone as this is where everyone gets killed. Legion targets it because its where alot of people go. Follow this advise and I'm sure you'll find success. You should make upwards of 5m/hr, so paying off the cost of the ship is easy resulting in a very good risk reward for PVP roiding. If you want to hunt and discover Roids, put a DSAT in the inventory and stick it on when needed. I'll offer a guarantee that if you have not paid off the cost of the ship with Roid earnings and you get killed following these instructions I will give you a free Blueprint and send you funds for new ship costs. The same model ship that Luthen Rael prefers in Andor, the Fondor Haulcraft is a small-core hubrid hauler with warp drive. It has the equivalent of 1 1/2 Large containers of cargo space. It can lift around 450 to 600 tons off Alioth. Its meant to be a daily driver. Small enough to warp, large enough to carry a respectable load, and fast enough to get in and out quick. An elevator as elegant in design as it is in operation. This is a beautifully crafted elevator which can lift 5kt. It can be set up to follow a path perpendicular to the construct from which it was launched. This will allow elevators on the same, or adjacent, aligned cores to travel parallel paths to space, and arrive in the same relative locations in space as they hold on the ground. It does not use breadcrumbs, neither does it stop to correct deviation, as deviation is continually corrected while in flight. It maintains the same flight axis at all times, so does not become confused if it gets nearer to another celestial body than whence it started. Automatic docking is standard, with an extremely simple and reliable circuit. There are two setup modes, a simple one intended for first time deployment or testing, and a precise one, which uses a programming board, intended for parallel axes use, and after moving an elevator to a new location. So you're collecting some roid-rage at all the Safe Zone ores you're mining in to your Weird Science mk2. You're perusing the nearby PVP asteroids that are close by and boy do they look tasty! But you're not interested in risking your DSAT ship. It's a hefty gamble! Well check out this little tidbit!
